The PASSION PRINCIPLE in Your Workouts. Do you have trouble getting motivated? This is normal when it comes to working out. You won’t always feel like kicking butt in the gym, but sometimes if your motivation is waning, you may be putting your goals ahead of your relationship and connection with the body. Sometimes driving yourself too hard towards a goal causes you to miss the parts of your workouts that you really enjoy. You’re too busy thinking about where you want to do, instead of just being here in the moment and enjoying the feeling of the body as it goes through the motions. A way of getting around this lack of motivation is to focus on what motivates you, what causes you to enjoy your workouts and look forward to going to the gym. EVEN if there are parts of your workouts that aren’t necessarily perfect accord to the bodybuilding bible. Sometimes by veering off course of the “perfect program” you can stumble into something new, perhaps a technique, or a new fresh way to enjoy your bodybuilding journey.
