I've never walked out of a theater THAT spaced out on conflict in my life. My biggest disappointment was Supreme Leader Snoke the Red Herring.
I think The Last Jedi is amazing. Definitely the best Star Wars movie since The Empire Strikes Back, and I pretty much loved everything about it. It took a ton of risks. It was bold and unique. I loved what they did with Luke, and I think he had a very powerful arc that ended with me in chills. I also didn’t mind the Canto Bight subplot. But I also think every Star Wars movie has a particularly pointless subplot in it. Almost as if it was traditional. And I didn’t think the humor was out of place, and that scene about Rey telling Kylo to put a shirt on was actually meant as a creative and funny way to show us that not only can Rey feel Kylo’s presence and hear his voice through their strange force connection, but she can also physically see him. Which has never been thought to be possible in the Star Wars mythos until now. And that excites me. If I HAD to pick a legit gripe with it, it’d be that scene where *SPOILERS* (not that you’ll care)
– Rose Saves Finn by crashing into his Speeder saving his life, thus preventing his intended sacrifice, which would have been a powerful ending for his character. And then that fact that she then kissed him after giving him a cringe-inducing speech was just painful. But I’ve got to say I’m glad he’s alive, he’s a great character. Other than that, I pretty much love everything else about this movie. People saying that it raped the Star Wars legacy forever are just Nostalgia-blinded fanboys who just want the same Star Wars movie every time. I’d give The Last Jedi a 9 out of 10.
This film is now projected to bring in almost $800 million dollars less than The Force Awakens.
Why did they directly attack the fans?
Lots of reasons why it is a bad movie. But the humiliation and emasculation of Luke Skywalker is the reason people are *angry*.
That was a billion dollar bad decision by Kennedy and Johnson.
If I had to pick one over riding principle next, it would be the "Outer Limits" "What ever you do- you are wrong", craptastic universe.

The casino planet? Boring but not irritating.
The plot holes? Annoying but not irritating.
The prank joke and other jokes that were inserted and not based on the existing character traits/personality? Hell- I laughed at some of them even as I thought they were extremely unrealistic even for star wars.
Rey being a maRey sue? not very interesting, killed my chance of identifying with her as I had leia long before, but not actually irritating.
There really isn't a "3rd" factor which would have made me decide I'll never buy another star wars product again while "8" is canon.
It was really just luke and the universe without hope. I'd say luke was 80%- enough all on his own but the universe without hope was only 40%.
It was a nice film
Everything negative, lets critics made their own movie… Then compare…
Personally, if the milk was so good, he should have been sharing it with her.
Only 5???? It should be a trillion!!!
The movie was confusing, lacked depth, made Luke into a pussy and didn't explained anything from the last 30 year's, killed Snoke before we found out who tf he was or how he came about?? Rian should never be allowed near a big time franchise ever again, Kathleen Kennedy should be fired for this atrocious vile film.
Yeah I'm sorry but this movie is not divisive compared to the prequels.
Should be titled Top 500 Legitimate Gripes With Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The fact that watch mojo liked it either means that Kennedy paid them a lot of money or they went into the wrong theater and saw Jumanji 2 and got confused on the commentary.
This film was about learning from failures, and the Canto Bright storyline was only a failure because they didn’t get the MASTER CODEBREAKER! If they had so, then things might have turned out differently.
This film was a billion times better than stupid Force Awakens, and deserves praise for taking risk. Just angry that JJ Abrams is returning for Episode IX – he is going to ruin SW again after Rian Johnson’s work on Ep VIII worked hard to perform damage control for Ep VII and give us a fresh SW film.
I'm annoyed so some how the first order can track people through hyper speed jumps? HUH? so in the future movies no one can escape or run away or go anywhere, the First order will just keep tracking and follow you? HUH? Thats like make a cop and robber movie series, but now the robbers can never get away, the cops can always track them down, that completely ruins the basic fun basic principal of the movie
The movie was a steaming pile of garbage. Rian Johnson has killed Star Wars
You could have easily done a top 10 list for this one…
This should be a top 20. REAL Star Wars fans could easily fill it up AND agree together on it. Maybe even a top 30 actually.
About Holdo not clueing in Poe about her plans.
Yes, to us the audience, Poe is a protagonist character, so we see him differently from other characters.
But here's the thing. Within the context of chain of command of the Resistance, what makes Poe so special? Really, he is just a fighter pilot, that's about it. He's no one too special or important. Why should he get the priviledge of having the leadership's plans explained to him? As if to seek his approval? Or are people saying that every time the leadership comes up with a plan, everyone has to be told about it? That's a romantic notion, but that's not how it works in real life. Like Poe said, some things are on a need to know basis
To me, there's nothing questionable about Holdo's decision. Only personnel who are directly involved in the evacuation should be briefed about the plan, even then they should only be briefed within the context of their work.
The real problem is Poe being a disobedient, trigger happy fighter pilot jock
What bugged me the most about the movie and no one talks about it is SPOILER the scene where they plan is to escape to the rebel base in little ships. You dont think the imperial ship cant see the thrusters? 30 of them? They spend all their lives looking at stars. No cloak… in plain sight. Like really?
I hate to say this im starting to see star wars like i see the tranformers cash cow special effects and a movie that makes no fuckingbg since or want explain shit . but to push movies out like an abusive dog breeder.
Of course watch Mojo is going to like the Worst Star Wars of All, Im sure Disney pays a big chunk of their revenue.
And, Hello???
Who the Hell was Snoke?
No twist or Big reveal?
Im glad I movie hopped to watch this worst episode, so far.
IM also going to say what no one else wants to say… the level of Feminism in this Episode is out of control.
George Lucas Star Wars is No More.
Disney has destroyed in 2 Episodes what took 6 Episodes to set up and create.
