please don't show the clips from movies. x men movies.are shit and they have their own bullshit stories. I literally saw x men days of future past movie with wolverine going into past instead of kitty pride. fuck X-Men movies..comics rocks . read comics
The mutant massacre???? That just changed the x-universe forever.
1. It brought x-men to the modern era.
2. It introduced psylocke.
3. Got rid of Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde.
4. Built a framework for mister sinister.
5. Built a framework the fall of the mutants.(Apocalypse recruiting his horsemen)
6.Introduced marauders.
7.Wolvie vs Sabretooth.
You don't call this iconic?
I love the fall of the mutants arc because it is suspenseful.
I have x men #1 volume 2
x-cutioners song anyone?
Hey guys! Would you recomend me to buy Uncany X Men 275? I saw it in a comic store in my city and it's cheap.
I loved ONSLAUGHT and CHILDREN OF THE ATOM (graphic novel). Not even an honorable mention!?
confusing to follow because of all the clips from the movies/animated series interrupting video. seriously, i would've been happy with only pics from the comic books itself.
I'll probably get murdered for saying this, but, I did really like X-Cutioner's Song….
Anther who believes in jean grays importance. The only big thing she did was die and they overused that until even they joked about it.
The only I will never read is number one.
X-Cutioners Song? Thats when I gave up, that artwork sucked. Doesnt matter how cool the story is, I'll never know cause if the art sucks I wont read it. The art IS important, its comics after all, thats why no-one ever says John Romita Jr's run was awesome, maybe it was but nobody read it cause his art was HORRIBLE. What about Inferno, that shit was dope where there was monster mailboxes and they all got turned into evil demon versions of themselves and that Silvestri art was sick, there was no major death or whatever but they cant all be The Phoenix Saga. For me its 1. The entire first run with Cockrum, that dude is criminally underappreciated next to Byrne 2. Proteus saga, X-Men on LSD 3. Obligatory Phoenix Saga mention, I was underwhelmed when I finally read it after all the years of the hype 4. Days of Future Past of course, again obligatory 5. Marc Silvestri run, Fall of The Mutants & Inferno, issue #229 is the perfect issue to experience how Silvestri made the X-Men awesome, they're fighting on a pile of dead bodies on the cover, what?! The way its colored its hard to tell but thats a pile of deceased cyborgs 6. Jim Lee run of course, Acts of Vengeance & X-tinction Agenda, a Jim Lee Rouge in tatered clothes in The Savage Land? DROOL (See cover of #274) (Just read Giant Size #1, #94-175 & #218-277) 7. Hmmm, all the other obvious stuff everbody knows except i never see anyone tak about the last 4 issues of New X-Men. The "Here Comes Tomorrow" story arc. Silvestri came back baby! And what a last hoorah that was! You got Evil Beast infected by a 530million year old sentient bacteria colony, E.V.A. is awesome, Beaks grandkids kicking ass, main protagonist isnt even a mutant and dude has a pet Sentinal, theres a brain in a jar flying the Blackbird, an army of genetically engineered Nightcrawlers with wings and Cyclops eyes (but dont need visors – whatever), theres a mutant telepathic whale on the team with the extra power to get attacked and be good for nothing except getting the pet Sentinal killed (it was sad yo), and Phoenix comes back and takes down Evil Beast and recreates our universe to save it and does some other Morrison comsic shit and we see theres a whole force of Phoenix's, presumably each in charge of their respective universes and holy shit did Morrison know what to write that would play to Silvestri's strengths! Read that shit! Collect it! Love it! PS – Paul Smith's run was the shit! My favorite is issue #166, that cover is beautiful…best Lilandra ever drawn.
Magnus , Eric Lenscherr, now this new name , make up you damned minds
Death of Wolverine anybody?
no old man logan realy
The "House of M" should be number, fuck the phoenix saga.
God loves MAn kILls, astonishing X men and DARK Phoenix SAGA is my favourite x men stories of all time. !
Life Death 1 and 2 are always overlooked
They didn't include Giant Size Xmen
shit list
I think that if FOX could create another X-Men movie in the future, I proposed that Apocalypse will return and will be a new student of Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngters as a kid with no memory of being Apocalypse.
Magneto Testament was just a retelling of some of Chris Claremont's backup issues in Classic X-men. Nothing original came from that series.
The 90´s might have been rough, but the 2010's suck like anything before.
proteus would have been in my top 3
I would have included the Legacy Virus saga, but that's just me. Frankly, that was a kick ass arc in the 90s.
I've always loved X-Men but have only read about half of these gotta catch up and read them all
Am I the only one who preferred Messiah Complex over House of M
I have the X-Men 1 Vol.2 1991
It's my favorite comic I've read it a lot
uncanny xmen141 and 142
uncanny xmen 198
uncanny xmen 208 and 209

happy memories,
ok i am getting sick and tired of how much fame days of future past is becoming don't get me wrong its good but come on you only put this high on the list cause of the movies and its no where near s good as age of Apocalypse or astonishing x-men and where the fuck is the brood saga and the asgardian wars?
