I like the carrie 2013 remake, guess I'll be the black sheep again.
"NOT THE BEES! OH GOD NO NOT THE BEES!"
OK, the 2013 version of Carrie was a good movie. Did it have flaws, yeah, was it as good as the original, hell no, but it was still a really decently put together film.
its all a matter of opinion but i kind of dont like this video
i like horror movie remakes too not just the originals
I liked the original house on haunted hill why did they have to go and make a remake!?
Decent list
I preferred the nightmare on elm street remake
Just me?
Ok
****SPOILERS!!!****
I've always thought that the NOES remake would've been more interesting if the screenwriters had twisted the tale by making Freddy innocent of any wrongdoing when the parents burned him up. I had high hopes for that when in the trailer he screams "What do you think I did? I didn't do anything!" Being unjustly accused and then murdered by a hysterical mob would've given Freddy even more of a motive to punish that mob by killing the children he once loved, turning the whole story into a profound tragedy instead of a routine we've all seen before. But they just had to go with the predictable "evil all along" cliché. Maybe they thought that twist was too Darkness Falls.
The Nightmare On Elm Street remake aint half bad, but its just darker then the originals. Its more horror focused. I enjoyed the new take on it.
One Missed Call failed because they tried to make a serious film based on the Asian film that was a parody of Asian Horror…
Am I the only one who feels that Japan is the one country who can actually make good horror films?
fuck you if you think that Carrie is not a horrible movie
ok, house/ hill was damn good
vince vaughn norman bates ?
was the first movie the one that was made fun of in the movie scary movie 2 right?
i love the hitcher 2007!! why you cussing hitcher 2007?!?!
no i dont agree with your list, the hitcher should not be on it
I, for one, rather enjoyed three of these remakes. Carrie, House on Haunted Hill, and Amityville Horror (Ryan Renolds was great in Amityville!!!). Sure they are not perfect films, but they all have enough style and substance to make them memorable.
i love HoHH, yeah!Kong and Psycho were the worst, neither was scary and left u wondering why'd they do that?
Where is Rob Zombies Halloween series
The remake of Halloween and halloween 2 should be on this list
i really liked Carrie 2013 its my fav… Chloe is amazing and i think its the best
Rob Zombie's Halloween. In the original Michael just snaps and kills his sister. No story, no explanation. Very creepy, especially for white suburbia at the time. Rob Zombie's remake shows that his step father was an abusive dick, his sister was an abusive slut, and he was bullied, creating sympathy for the character. I like Rob Zombie's music and his original movies, but he needs to avoid remakes because his Halloween movies were just sad.
I personally enjoyed the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. The guy who played Freddy was awesome.
I actually really liked prom night remake and Texas chainsaw massacre was good and how is black Christmas only an honorable mention
The Carrie remake was terrible IMO. Chloe is too perfect to play Carrie… in fact, I'm thinking people like this movie only because she appears in it. I don't blame you for liking her, as she is cute, but can we stop pretending the remake was any good?
I think that America should stop trying to make remakes of Japanese classic horror movies because they just can't capture the horror correctly, making the Japanese one always scarier in comparison.
Edit: Also I disagree on the carrie remake. I believe that both the original and the remake were good. Sure the remake didn't live up fully to the potential but personally i don't think that they could have found a better actress than chloe that wouldn't have either ended being completely cheesy or just wasn't scary enough. But that's just my opinion
MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!!!!!
