bro, crash was a good movie, c'mon now it deserved it
A surprisingly immature and poorly-argued list from Watchmojo
The fact Gwyneth won best actress over Fernanda Montenegro… I still can't wrap my head around that.
Saving Private Ryan isn't only the best WWII film ever made, it's one of the best films ever made. Period. 20 years on, it's still very hard to find a movie that so accurately portrays the sacrifices made by ordinary men for an extraordinary cause.
Chicago over pianist is too much for me!
Well , this year's most boring, politically correct, Hollywood liberals bs winner Moonlight is the worst
moonlight and Shakespeare in love
Slept through The English Patient in the cinema.
Driving Miss Daisy is a great movie!
What exactly was the problem with Chicago? I've seen it twice, and I think it's damn near perfect. I haven't seen the stage version, so I'm not sure what they meant when they mentioned the adaptation issue in this video.
CHICAGO deserved it!!!
brokeback mountain was a shit movie about faggots.
Heath and Jake deserved wins for BM (or just their bodies of work), but BM itself was horrible. It was based on a short story written by a woman about two guys who had drunken gay sex one night. It definitely was not less preachy than Crash, I don't know where you guys got that idea.
Citizen Cane was severely overrated.
Uh. I don't think everyone hates these films. They were a bit loved.
what about Forrest Gump???? won against two of the greatest of all time……
1968 Oscar should've been 2001: A Space Odyssey, but it didn't even get nominated. I will say that the winner (Oliver) is a good film, though.
Driving Miss Daisy was the best! totally deserved to win!!!
Gandhi remains a great movie. It is slowly paced but one feels fully connected with Gandhi's motivations and the grand sweep of history. It also makes the funeral scenes all the more compelling as one feels so shocked by the mindless assassination of Gandhi. I don't know from where MoJo is able to state that Gandhi is not now well regarded when it has an almost 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
i totally agree with this entire list.
Crash if it deserved to win the prize
