Gutted Shadow of the eternals never came to be.
Did most of these people who backed games on this list even get their money back?..
Very smart scam lmfao. 200+k profit and no refunds lmfaoooo.
family to feed! XD
This is why you should never support a kickstarter or twitch or videogame streamer bouncing her tits around. What do they do for us?? Exactly, you support them you shouldve just thrown your money in the garbage can, wouldve been easier.
At least with The Stomping Land, it received a VERY successful successor in the form of Ark: Survival Evolved. The same cannot be said for most of the other games on this list.
No, Mighty No.9? It was not a very bad game, but speaking of how it fail with heavy disappointment it's odd to not be anywhere in here.
Shadow of the Eternals was a disappointment. I hope Nintendo just remakes Eternal Darkness. The Switch's unique functionality could be used to great effect to troll gamers.
Surely STAR CITIZEN is the king of this.
So where is that space game by Chris Roberts?
Why wasn't human resources on this list it was canceled in 2014 and i was looking forward to it
I've always found that helping fund something like a video game, a movie or an album as a big risk on kickstarter which is why I rarely pledge to them. I typically help out books and games (card or table top) because generally speaking the work is already done from a development standpoint and the money is really more for actually producing it.
Hex Heroes
mighty number 9 will be on here
Edit: wow… no mighty no 9.
Yes!
Why does the voice over sound akin to Anne Frank doing an audio recording from behind her bookcase?
No Man's gam-I mean Sky?
I kinda want to create a game called Kickstarter Simulator and intentionally delay it multiple times, before going silent for 5 years, then coming back and saying "Thank you for playing Kickstarter Simulator".
I'd like to see these people act like real adults and get a loan from the bank. Let's see them try to run off with $100,000 now!
Sorry, people that kick in on these things are asking to lose their money. For every one development team that has everything together and is simply lacking funding, there are considerably more that wouldn't know what to do with the money if it was delivered in dump trucks. There is a very good reason most of these groups and individuals are hitting up kickstarter for money.
Kickstarter projects are a testament of how retarded our society has become. You have people paying for a property that won't be theirs and will provide profit for someone else, and what's even worse,it is seen as a revolutionary method.
kickstarter its just another name for fuck you am getting your money anyway possible, this industry is really going to hell
How about dividing this list in released and non-released?
Where's Mighty No. 9?
What's sad is this is essentially "companies" stealing/getting free money. Kickstarter DOES get a portion of funds raised, and therefore should have some sort of insurance policy in place which allows backers some sort of refund if the project fails/never happens.
sigh i like sci fi and fantasy but mighty number 9 was a shame for us
To answer the question @ 6:16 ,,,, a nice pair of mammaries.
Where is mighty no 9
Honestly if you saw Peter Molyneaux attached to something and you bought it anyway you deserve to lose any money you may have spent.
i know nothing about games on kickstarter
so… if the games decidedly abandoned by the dev team after the goal have been reached
did the backers lose their money ?
or there are some guarantee from the dev team that the backers still can have their money back ?
You know if they care to what they might as well not announced the games if they're not gonna finish it
