Where's Nintendo Labo?
Oh wait…
Metroid Prime: Federation Force is NOT on the list? Oh, c'mon!
Ehh Nintendo has failed a ton but we can’t forget Microsoft and Sony fails…
You know what they say: All toasters toast toast!
Awesome
The Nintendo Switch has shown that Nintendo has definitely learned from their mistakes from the Wii U in terms of advertising.
Power Glove should have made this list.
1000th comment
I like to imagine a reality where Playstation and Nintendo still are one, and Kratos, Crash, and Nathan are in "Smash Bros All Stars" or something
Funhaus!
PlayStation is better, comments full of fanboys and kids lul
Oh come on I loved the E-Reader
Absolutely love Nintendo, I got very lucky and was able to pre-order a Nintendo switch when they first came out
54 comment yey.
Be honest, you still get chills when you hear that PlayStation intro tune!
Oh god, i'l never forget that zelda game…for the wrong reasons.
Number 1 NINTENDO LABO
Personally, I think the NES and SNES classic were mistakes. Why not just implement a virtual console for the Switch the NES and SNES games. Yeah yeah. Nostalgia. I get it. But the Switch is both a home console and a handheld in one. What could be better than playing your favorite old games on the go.
Pink Gold Peach?
Does anybody remember Sega channel?
still number 1 to me: The Switch not knowing if it's supposed to be a handheld system or a home console and taking Pokemon away from the 3DS
PlayStation will always be ahead of Nintendo
Nintendo has its ups and downs. But they are still around cough cough SEGA Cough Cough Atari
A few more issues that could've made this list:
– Nintendo firing the creator of Fire Emblem who then developed Tear Ring Saga on the PlayStation
– The entirety of 2011
– The Game Boy Mobile System from 2000-2002 that failed to bring online compatibility to the western audience until 2005
– The seizure episode of Pokemon that nearly ruined the series' reputation
– Refusing to use proper discs for their main line of consoles until the Wii
– Miitomo
in my opinion Wii and 3ds are fails, yeah they have excelent games but the gamecube and DS are better
The fact that Nintendo sold out of the remade consoles is a great failure. As in if that's going to be a failure, it's a good one. I have the SNES remade I got it as a Christmas present. I saw two of them at a Best Buy in Warner Robins Georgia the other day. These things are truly Ninten-stalgia wrapped up in a modern, professional reboot. slick 1080p presentation, process modes like CRT scanning emulation mode or direct draw pixel, snazzy selection of crisp widescreen borders, saves for each game as well as 4 additional assignable anomalous save states…. and no cartridge blowing!! get one if you can I promise it's worth it
Mah boi dis peace is what all warriors strive for
I didn't want watchmojo to redux this list
Never Forget that BO2 on the WiiU was the best Version of the game 🙂 they really did an amazing Job there!
Do a top 10 Konami fails
as much as i like Nintendo, they do usually fuck up royally
Also great video so don't get me wrong because I'm just going to elucidate something. The fact that Sony came out with PlayStation and created competition for Nintendo in the late 90s is probably what ushered in some of the finest gaming in Nintendo's entire career in the late 90s, with Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye, Super Smash Brothers… The competition I think was good in the end, just like WCW and WWF competing made those wrestling products so good back in the late 90s. The competition enhanced the product.
So basically, Nintendo ended up accidentally making the best console of all time
Pff, #4 should have been #1 as it is the main reason and the source of why the Wii U has failed from the get go.
How about NOT RELEASING MOTHER 3!!!
Uhm… how was the Wii's lifespan "short-term"? It was out 6 years before the Wii U released, which is actually about average for the gap between console generations from the same manufacturer, and even if the games are no good, there have been new releases even since the Wii U was released. Heck, Just Dance 2018 is the only game I know of that's gotten a simultaneous release on THREE generations of consoles from the same manufacturer, so that's got to count for something.
Almost every game I buy is due to reviews or let's plays as there are so many games it is almost impossible to do it by one's self. While I haven't owned a console in years, I occasionally want to pick up a PS or an XBOX. Nintendo only grabs my attention when I hear of a new Zelda or Mario Kart… and it is too much money to drop on too little entertainment. Bullet meet foot.
Those third party titles are STILL the inferior version on the lame switch. Its the very reason their own game Monster Hunster, didnt come out for the switch. Capcom even said the switch power was too gay to utilize it for Monster Hunter World.
The CDI is why Nintendo won't everallow other to touch there titles without major watching over.
Honestly, I feel like #4 was what lead to the other missteps involving the Wii U.
