This video proves one thing, people just like to complain.
If you don't like something, fine, but there are probably people who do, and don't take offense to touchy subject matter.
Netflix's Death Note pissed me off for so many reasons.
So tired of hearing about whitewashing in American films. Are any of the folks that are so vocal about whitewashing up in arms about Bollywood being entirely Indian or Japanese movies being fully Japanese casts, Korean movies being fully Korean etc etc? Nope, coz whites are bad, blah blah, blah
Ok listen on sense8. I'm very much not a fan of sex scenes. I find them unnecessary about 99% of the time. That scene though? It's in the one percent. It shows how the connection has grown and reached a new level. How close they've become. If anything from that show were to make a list I would have thought it would be the crowning/c-section scene from later in season one.
presidency debt settlement cluster vulnerable support last enforcement declare.
I thought the thumbnail was a picture of Amy Schumer. Then I realised it was just a picture of a Warthog
Well they completely changed every aspect of the two main characters, light and L, and made seemingly every attempt to distance the movie from anything to do with the manga or anime besides, there's a book called a death note and it kills people if you write their name in it, and a handful of characters names are the same. I mean hell, lights last name in the movie is turner or some dumb shit like that. "Oh but he's white in the movie and the last name yagami wouldn't make sense" oh who gives a fuck. That could slightly have something to do with why people think it's a burning pile of garbage filled with hobo shit.
ew amy looked gross in that tight leather..
Big Mouth?
What is whitewashing? All countries cast there own people in remakes.
If Iron Fist was always white why did people complain when an english dude got cast??
Love the thumbnail
SJWs demanding diversity casting
I do not care what they say about 13 Reasons Why. It is my all time favourite drama show
Here's a tl;dr comment.
10. He clearly didn't have enough bullets to kill everyone there. Offering yourself is the bravest thing you can do.
9. I wanted science fiction, I got gender preaching.
8. Losers who never read a comic in their life complained about a white guy, being a white guy. Marvel is simply revamping all their old stereotype characters from way back when. I can't wait for Cloak and Dagger to get people really riled up.
7. Canada Presents Death Note was hilariously bad. I wasn't a fan of Death Note to begin with but it clearly didn't deserve that butchering. Let me be blunt. Americans and Canadians should not touch japanese properties, we just ruin them every time or turn them into something that's completely alien to the source material.
6. Super Pig was fine time waster. I should watch it again.
5.The only people who believe the alt-right tanked Amy Schumer's special are Schumer herself, the people paid to like her and the people who like her because the people who were paid to like her told them so.
Off the top of my head , I can think of two different Amys. Amy Poehler and Amy Sedaris who on their worst days, , without being forced down your throat or being harped on by talent-less cronies as the second coming of comedy, are without a doubt infinitely funnier than Amy Schumer on her best days.
4. To The Bone was quite funny in my opinion . If you actually thought to the Bone was bad for people with anorexia, may I suggest that you never browse the Pro Ana groups on Tumblr.
3. Who cares?
2. Dear White People was cringy.
First up, it's illegal to dislike anything with Black People on Rotten Tomatos. No. I'm not a race traitor. I just find this "hurr durr" brainwashed mass production stuff to be the exactly the thing actual black panthers warned us about back in the day. The commercialization of the message. The man is showing you what you want to see and people are just nodding their head going "yasssss"
And Number 1.
13 Reasons Why.
I absolutely deplore that show, the book was far better ( the show added in long stretches of time that did not exist in the book ) but it was still rather stupid in the end.
A stupid girl kills herself for a stupid reason and blames everyone else around her.
I had no pity for anyone except for the people who got tapes.
Why did they get a tape? Because they couldn't read her fucking mind.
Without spoiling it for people who didn't sit through 13 hours of nothing ( again, the book sums it infinitely fucking faster)
What's the point of getting revenge if you're not around to see it? Her tapes were smug and self-serving and she comes off as a callous bitch who only killed herself to avoid the repercussions of actually being responsible for her own actions.
No one put a gun to her head when she willingly got into an intimate situation with a known rapist – at that point, it's like Heathers. You know the guy is awful, but you hook up with him anyway because he's hawwwwtt. Whatever.
Did she, at any moment consider the feelings of the guidance councilor who could not read her mind? What's the point of seeking help if you're not going to tell them anything?
The OA was so stupid at the end. I was really angry to lose all that time.
I would’ve put Iron Fist on here because it was shit, not because of apparent whitewashing. How can you whitewash a character that was originally white? If he was originally non-white then sure but he wasn’t
God, Amy Schumer is just terrible! She just needs to go away…
Death Note Fans hating on the casting? No we hate on the fact they made Light a crybaby wimp. He screamed and almost pissed himself when he saw Ryuk. They also made L an idiot. So they ruined the two main characters.
women aren't funny
the iron fist controversy was so dumb
Amy Schumer has a best ?
Trump did 9/11
Jesus Christ that thumbnail is horrifying
Sense 8 was pretty gay and terrible.
I thought Iron Fist was "controversial" because it was terrible.
I loved Iron Fist
If you get bad reviews don't blame yourself, blame the alt-right
