What about 'The Matrix'?
Spawn toys are like the best. They had so much detail back then.
I had so many of those toys as a kid.
Good list I remembered seeing some of these growing up and played with T2 the arcade game. Things were totally different then.
I LOVE that three of these are Schwarzenegger.
What about Deadpool? I've been seeing too much kid merchandise for that movie.
I wonder if some of these owed their existence to the fact the source material is a comic book. For a long time, PR people seemed oblivious to the fact that comic books aren't automatically intended for children: years ago, I subscribed to 2 very adult-themed comics published by DC Comics: Hellblazer & Swamp Thing. What did Hollywood give us? A kid-friendly joke called Swamp Thing!
What about the talking Freddy Krueger dolls from the 80's? That was kinda inappropriate..
I remember watching the Rambo animated series–that's what they toys reflect, not the Rambo movie franchise.
T2 shouldn't be on the list. Spawn should have been more than honorable mention given the original source material.
mmm proud to see my suggestion get a video <3 thnx WatchMojo
Let's not forget the horror – themed toys of the last 10 years or so (not that I'm complaining. I've collected a number of them over the years).
Now I understand why some people grew up more mature and kids nowadays don't have the hability to defend themselves and are bullied everyday.
what about the South Park movie?
How come like all of them have Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger?
teenage mutant ninja turtles
He punched the horse in Conan the Destroyer.
It sucks being a kid
I remember most of these, still got some T2, and Aliens figures somewhere, but what about the Tim Burton Batman movies? 🙂
Beetlejuice?
i love the Toxic Avenger so much
If you look it up rated R means under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian even doe most people think it means
17 and older and period and some think it's 18 they haven't heard about the NC-17 rating which means no one 17 and under admitted
If someone under 17 can see a rated R movie with parent supervision I would recommend no younger then 14 maximum depending on
Their maturity level I've seen PREDATOR on tv and I'm the best behaved in my class
Priorities that endure = "money before morality".
I loved the Police Academy cartoon! It really needs a DVD release if it hasn't already.
"Journey to a time when action movies were made for adults…but marketed towards kids."
I had that first Alien toy; one of my friends threw it off the porch and the head broke off; I'm still kicking myself in the ass thinking that I should have glued that bitch back together and held onto it within its box and sold it later on for an astronomical price….
I'm a kid I don't have problem with blood.
What About The Heisei Gamera Toys From Bandai?
Django unchained
Actually, I only knew Toxic Crusaders (or Toxic Avenger) from the Mega Drive.
