The imitation game is historically inaccurate and over dramatised.

C'me one. Nobody remember Gladiator, or 300?
spoiler alert: hitler dies in downfall
WERE IS WATERLOO 1970!!!! THAT IS ACCURATE AS FUCK!!!
You mention Gettysburg, but Gods and generals is not only more historically accurate, but also a far superior film with much better acting. It is probably one of the most underrated films of all time, it definitely is worth being seen by all Americans.
Check out "Goodbye Uncle Tom"… Brutal!
Waterloo?
Apollo 13 is my favourite film!
Number one pleases me greatly
I'm honestly surprised "Pearl Harbor" wasn't in there. It was based on the true story of those soldiers and pilots in a near-perfect recreation of what happened that fateful day. Further to prove this, it was awarded more than any other historical film to date.
When I saw Downfall I fought about the Hitler reacts to videos
Actually, the Imitation Game had multiple inaccuracies. I'm shocked that it's been included on this list.

two of my high school music teachers appeared as marching band extras in Lincoln
historically accurate from whose perspective?
What about a little film called The Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes..??..HELLO?!?
Spielberg's Lincoln may be historically accurate, but it was a as boring as crap. It should have never made it to the big screen. It should have been an HBO show instead. It suits the small screen, not the big screen.
I consider Schindler's List, the best American film, ever made. Fuck the godfather, or citizen Kane. The List tops them both.
