Candice from Eths!
Tatiana Shmaylyuk from Jinjer should have been on this list! Useless…
Buena lista, pero no estoy de acuerdo con algunos puestos.
too bad first video of flyleaf has new lead lady not Lacey
not disagreeing but I think Maria Breon deserves a spot on this list as well
Sharon Den Adel and Floor Jansen are my absolute favourites. Both have such sweet, soft voices and then explode into wonderfully powerful! Imo, Nightwish have never been better than with Floor. She's everything they needed. Amazing singer and amazing front woman.
1 Nigtwish
2 Within temptation
3 Epica
the didtillers is more punk….
Y las muchachas de Therion? ):
more of the honorable mentions should have been in the countdown since most of the others were symphonic metal (not heavy metal) nor were they hard rock. Some were simply alternative, punk, and/or metalcore.
Pretty sure that first clip wasn't of Lacey…
Come on! What about Morgan Lander from Kittie????
Putting Floor in the honorable mentions is just silly. She's one of the very best singers currently performing.
Liv Kristine from Theatre of Tragedy and her replacement Nell Sigland were missing.
No, not three generations. Three generations implies something like 75 years.
I like Pretty Reckless but love Nightwish best when Tarja Turunen was out front but still listen to them. And yea Joan Jett and a few others that should have been there but maybe some of you are too young to know who they are.
I think there are MAYBE 5 of these chicks that even deserve to be on this list, and I couldn't disagree more with the order of this list. Lzzy Hale should have been number one on this list. The Distillers?!? Brody Dalle? Seriously? They literally compared her to the worst singer in the history of rock music… Courtney Love. That bitch can't write a song or sing for shit. She stole all of Hole's songs from Kurts song book after she had him killed…
Also, what about Lita Ford?
TARJA TURUNEN <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Morgan Lander – KittieEmily Armstrong – Dead Sara I don't know why Kittie never seems to be on any Mojo lists. All female band started in 1996 with a huge hit "Brackish" and yet no love on any lists. Also, if you're going to have Halestorm, Pretty Reckless, and In This Moment then you might as well have Dead Sara, at least as an honorable mention.
How can you not put Joan Jett on that list?!?!?
Why is Noora Louhimo from Battle Beast not on this list?
amy lee should had been 1#
when they dont put New year's day in the list :'(
Flyleaf chick reminds me of Hailey Williams.
Dolores O'Riordan – The cranberries?
Tarja Turunen has nothing on Amy Lee, sorry.
Lol well my top two made 2nd and 1st.
Can't believe Taylor Momsen was just an honourable mention
Otep and Maria Brink should be in the top 10 not these opera chicks.
mostly agree but gothic rock is NOT metal……
The girl from Unleash The Archers destroys them all. No ruining the metal with pretty soft singing, just pure vocal power.
Asking for Arkona is too much I guess…
Halestorm.
Drop mic.
I' out.
I'm shocked Amy Lee was so low, she's undeniably one of the most well known symphonic metal singers. Hell she's done work on themes in movies I'm pretty sure, she's definitely done an entire end song for an unreleased movie (still being worked on)
