i love xanax and hydrocodone
There is a huge misconception that anti-depressants will make you high. Yes, it changes one's mood but if you don't have a chemical imbalance, it does not. So, try as you might, taking a fistful of Prozac may hurt you, but it will not give you the least bit of a high. If you are clinically depressed, however, in many cases, it can balance your brain chemistry and make your mood even. I doubt very seriously if anyone becomes addicted to these types of anti-depressants Xanax is NOT an anti-depressant.
Pharmaceuticals are actually the ones who teach the doctors about the drugs so obviously they are going to teach them how it's more helpful than dangerous. Money money money
oxycotton, xanax bars, percocets & lortabs, valium, morphine patches, ecstasy & it's all up for grabs
only dangerous pills ive taken are antipsyc meds
fact is legally rx'd or street aquired benzodiazepines — for example xanax(alprozolapam), clonazepam(klonopin, rivotril), valium, ativan(lorazepam), etc — have the highest death rate in cold turkey. even after a slow taper, a month, a day, a week after quitting them you will have a grand mal seizure many of which kill you. You need a detox. and you need a detox which uses phenobarbital temporarily to prevent seizures and to lessen your suffering and help you rest. now people will say im nuts, but your only reacting emotionally to a drug that can kill you if you deliberately o.d. for suicide. back in the day a barbiturate(phenobarbital is one that is usually injected usually as part of anesthesia drug mix before surgery)like seconal was used before doctors found it is quite difficult to kill yourself on o.d. of benzos. actually seconals were much easier to detox than benzos. here's a non medical way to relieve panic attacks. you see when your suffering from anxiety and or depression you don't notice you are inhaling way more than exhaling when you breathe. this is what causes panic attacks. get a paper bag and breathe into it. it usually balances the hyperventilation and eases a panic attack
I abuse prescription drugs, including Ibuprofen.
Everyone is diseased unless they are completely normal, but don't be too normal because that's a disorder too.
that's because our government wants us doped up so we have to buy more and give them more money
Mostly an appropriate and informative video, but it was seriously misleading to mention Prozac at all. The class of antidepressants to which it belongs, SSRIs, are not drugs of abuse nor are they addictive. Some other less commonly prescribed antidepressants, like MAOIs or Tricyclics, may be abused or used as potentiators of the effects of other drugs, but even then they are not as abusable as prescription sedative/hypnotics or anxiolytics like benzodiazepines and Z-drugs, or prescription stimulants or opioids.
To treat antidepressants in the same way as one would these other drugs in relation to abuse is wrongheaded and harmful, and it showed a either a lack of relevant knowledge, thought, or requisite concern on watchmojo's part to have an SSRI portrayed in this video. Mental health already lacks due attention and those involved already face stigma, and there is no need to further stigmatise any element of this field, and especially not a largely benign and beneficial one like the prescription of SSRI antidepressants. This is not to deny any of the other issues which might arise around these drugs, but portraying them as drugs of abuse is simply incorrect.
I've gotten very addicted to adderall although I do have A.D.D I take more than I'm supposed to but it's so amazing I go from super super energetic from relaxed and I feel less tense. True the come down fucking sucks but the high feels so good
And now the DEA is banning Kratom as of 10/1/16. Kratom is a miracle herb that helps people with addiction to pain medications and is a natural way to get relief. The DEA can't have that! PLEASE help and sign the petition to keep Kratom legal. It's currently the 2nd most trending petition on petitions/whitehouse DOT gov
Banning this herb will result in more suicides, relapses and new addictions. Please sign the petition and spread the word.
We watched this today in health class.

chronic pain sucks
What a bunch of bull shit. This sort of hysteria about prescription opioids has lead to a massive healthcare crisis for those living in chronic pain. This was done to sick, suffering human beings by rehab folks, out to make a mint off addiction and now wanting to herd those in chronic pain into their very expensive rehabs for "treatment" for addiction and put us all on another opioid for addiction treatment that does not manage their pain. Why treat people for addiction when the problem is chronic pain, which causes brain damage if not managed? The lie that everyone who takes prescription opioids becomes an addict, or that those who take them long term are addicts, has really done harm to pain patients. It has impacted their quality of life, crippled formerly active pain patients with their pain. Many have lost hope of ever being allowed to take the meds, that they used for years without problems, and have killed themselves. Meanwhile the rates for addiction and opioid abuse continue to climb. No one is winning this war, war on people in pain. How about a video on that?
