The driverless cars are one of the stupidest ideas on the planet. nothing will replace a human being. I live in Canada were the weather can change from sunny to snowy in less than a minute and you end up with ice and animals. Driverless cars won't work stop trying to make it work. Just go watch logan.
where the hell is my jet pack???
Roll on electric, self-driving cars!
Who cares about VR!? Where's my holodeck!
AI should have been 1.
Simply because it's the gateway to everything. With superintelligent AI, humans will never need to work or invent anything ever again. Well, that is, if the AI agents are under our control.
You talked about these self-driving shit that I would rather have a lightsaber and a Railgun from quake 2.
Smartthings sucks.. I use Hue and Wink
"Transhumanism is the belief that humans can still evolve."
I mean, I get what that line was going for, but WOW is that a spit in the face of biological evolution.
Electric cars are still charged most commonly from an outlet attached to the grid. Which is still powered by fossil fuels. Ecodumbasses
Defense missions? realy guys come on this isnt Star trek
When they talked about all the appliances talking to each other in the SmartThings house, I immediately thought of that Treehouse of Horror episode, so when they mentioned it, I laughed pretty hard!
You spelled disruptors wrong
How about fusion energy?
No AI is the best AI
where is the time machine here I think I would be too if somebody really invented that a machine that can take you backwards and forwards Through Time.
over half of whats in here are pure lies already disproven
Hyperloop = debunked… and do you understand that the cloud is already how cable TV gets the information as well as many many other tech already use the cloud… who owns the cloud I ask. Driverless cars fml
Guy at 7:15 has dandruff
what about Hydrogen cars?
3D printing is as close to having Star Trek-like replicators as we're likely to ever come, the ones we're using today are going to be considered laughable, near useless junk compared to what we'll have in 10 years, we'll even be creating replacement body parts with them.
Also something people miss is we'll eventually have ones that can print complex, good tasting food from raw materials with much longer shelf lives, which will save the enormous amount of waste we generate from shipping, storing and cooking today.
Please use SI Unit!
Futuurrrrrrrrrrrree
I support and all major innovations anyone can contribute for the greater good it wasnt long when everyone says man cant fly..but look at us nowits a matter of tweaking the idea and supporting it
The Hyperloop won't work as long as you need to attach it to the ground. And somehow make it impervious to physical hits from the outside(or the inside, people are crazy after all)
Hacker's paradise. Def Hacker's paradise. Not to mention the company can also control the thing, not just you.
I just want to be able to teleport. When will that be a thing?
I'm on board for all these tech advances, except self driving cars…I like being behind the wheel too much
Where were Telepathy and Brain Networks via computer interface?
fuck self driving cars and silent electric cars ,I want a fast ,loud car with no gadgets so i can drive it myself
oh how about top 10 badass enginers in movies/shows/games
The question I have for driverless cars… who gets sued in court if there is an accident when the car is driving itself ? the owner ? or the software engineer who wrote the program that lacked the ability to make the correct split second decision to avoid a fatal crash in a multi-level scenario that has several fatal outcomes, but only one that would be considered an acceptable loss ? Example : hit the drunk who stumbled onto the freeway, rather than high speed rear-end into the school bus containing three nuns and fifteen children, or side-swipe the illegal immigrant running into traffic , trying to escape the police who just pulled him over ?
fuck the internet of things
So many armchair physicists in the comments smh
hyperloop has been debunked
Where are the Mass Effect Relays? That's what we need
VR is dead, Hyperloop is a scam, and 3D printing is stuck at the glue gun on a robot arm phase. The interesting 3D printing is at the MEMS scale, but you muggles don't tread there.
