You know Quasimodo Predicted all this.
What am I, an asshole or what?
You got # 1 right.
I just finished binge watching the whole series. The funny thing is I knew about the last scene before I even started it because when it aired all the guys I worked with were watching (and they were bitching about it, though I see the artistic value to it now), knowing the last scene didn't ruin anything for me, it was still a fucking good show.
Love sopranos
Great list. The only other one I remember as being great was Phil Leotardo getting taken out.
This is the BIGGEST PIECE OF DOGSHT list I ever seen in my life! Next time try actually watching the FUKIN SOPRANOS b4 making a fool of urself! Fukin idiots!
ANY true Sopranos fan from the beginning knows season 6-7 was a disaster + not even worth watching! Pathetic joke of a list totally crushing MOJO credibility FOREVER!!!!! ABSOLUTE JOKE
EVERY SINGLE EPISODE OF season 1-2 are a MILLION times better than ANY episode in season 6-7 let alone 3 of them in the top 10! LMFAO! Good job u newjacks
ummmm I think ya might of forgot "Pine Barrons" u POSERS!
PATHETIC LIST!
FUN HOUSE # 1
1. Funhouse
2. Calling All Cars
3. Pine Barrens
4. Long Term Parking
5. College
6. Proshai Livushka (Horrible CGI aside, it's an incredible hour of TV)
7. Stage 5
8. Soprano Home Movies
9. Whoever Did This
10. Blue Comet
It's such a great show so it's hard to pick, but this would probably be my order.
"Bobby Buh-KAH-luh"? "Bobby Buh-KAH-luh"??? It's Baca-LAH you stronza
Can't argue too much with that list. Pine Barrens would have made a fantastic film in itself, because it's so self-contained.
I loved the fourth season, and the third, but it's telling that 3 of the episodes in this top 10 come from the 'final episodes' 'mini-season' that ended the show; Season '6B' as it's sometimes called.
For me, as great as all the other seasons were, that final run of eight episodes was the best: intense, heart-breaking death scenes and big pay-offs mixed in with personal drama and some very funny stuff, like the Monopoly game in Soprano Home Movies.
And always the episodes ended with some kind of amazing combination of visuals and music: Phil Leotardo brooding soundtracked by 'Evidently Chickentown'(where the fuck did that choice of song come from by the way?), Bobby looking over the lake, clutching his baby daughter to his chest, Tony in the desert high on mescaline, staring at the sun in Heidi and Kennedy, or sat on his bed, assault rifle in hand, staring at the door in the penultimate episode, eerie Tindersticks instrumental playing over the credits, AJ in the psych ward at the end of The Second Coming, accompanied by a desolate Italian folk song . And of course the final episode's final scene, whatever you think of it(I love it, except for the presence of that cheesy Journey song that I'll forever associate with fucking Glee).
Not just the greatest TV show ever, but also the greatest soundtrack of any TV show too, and they both worked so beautifully with one another, the music lifting the best scenes even further into the stratosphere. Almost all my favourite scenes have some musical element to them, and I've lost count of the amount of times I finished watching an episode and instantly went online to find out who the artist playing over the credits was. No show has introduced so much great new music to me.
By the way, I know what happened after the screen goes black in the final episode: I saw the extended cut and it goes like this – Tony gets up from the ta
You forgot the episode where Christopher comes back from the dead and blows Tony's fat ass to kingdom come.
Greatest show that ever was on TV.
Caring father and brutal murderer. Ain't that all father's?
I watched the entire series over the course of a few months back in 2008. Whenever I'd think about the show over the past few years, the only episode that I'd remember vividly is the one that was selected as number 1 in this list. My wife and I were rolling with laughter watching Paulie and Christopher wander around the woods in the middle of winter. What a great show, a masterpiece even!!
"Many consider season 4 to be the best season of the Sopranos." What?? That is just BS watch mojo…This was the only season that really put me to sleep…doesnt help there there was very little of the good side characters like pussy, ralph, or tony b.
What's with the commentary?
Always been a fan of the later seasons. The show went from a series inspired by mob movies to something completely original. Love episodes like Kennedy and Heidi or Join the Club.
This is the blue print to mob movies. How the Godfather was until jan 10 1999 9 pm
Miss, did you even watch the show? Because this top 10 is bullshit.
You mainly picked episodes where main charachters die (Chris,Pussy,Adriana,Ralphie,Sil…) but it still doesn't make them "great" episodes…
I agree with #4 (College) but it would be on my top 3 and I agree with #2 (Whitecaps) but for the rest… I totally disagree
What about the Indians vs Italians episode? the "Chris' intervention" episode? the "Pax Soprana" episode? THESE are great episodes.
The writing of this show was simply fantastic at every level but I feel like the only thing people focuse on is the violence the show contains, it's really silly!
Anyway I gotta admit "The Sopranos" is clearly the best show ever!
Where's made in america
it's not fictional at All it's based on true story…. I think sjws and liberal people say fictional cause there scared there's people like this out there
She new the deal.
1. The Blue Comet
2. Pine Barrens
3. I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano
4. Employee of the Month
5. Members Only
6. University
7. The Knight in White Satin Armour
8. Long Term Parking
9. Irregular Around The Margins
10. Funhouse
HMs: Whoever Did This, The Second Coming, Toodle-Fucking-oo, Another Toothpick, All Due Respect, Soprano Home Movies, Stage 5, Cold Stones
The best episode was "Join the Club" with Kevin Finnerty. Best episode, fucked with my mind hardcore
THIS FCKIN ENDING!
The Ride from Season 6 part 1 and Full Metal Jacket from Season 2 are excellent episodes.
I would have of included the episode "Christopher" in the honorable mentions list. That one was also great, but have to be honest doesn't outweigh many of the ones listed here…
You left out S5 when Tony has to finally deal with Tony Blundetto. Omg when Pauly reveals the painting of Tony as a general talkin about comedic gold
