"Grant attacks with a whip" "Trevor drops knives from the ceiling" lol
As an avid Castlevania player that has beaten most of them, I disagree with most of list. Most of all, I'm remissed that you didn't include what's his nuts in the inverted castle in SotN, the giant Egyptian-esque Anubus-like mother fucker that shocked you with his wand. Or how many quality Dracula battles including Circle of the Moon or Dracula X. And I don't see any Castlevania 3 in there. Were you just pressed to make a video??? Not getting my like on this one. And I see a lot of REAL fans in here agreeing with me. Play your games and don't just crowd source your entries next time….
The more I read and agree with these comments, the more I think you need to WATCH movies and not make a PLAYmojo channel. You're what we call "noobs". Crowd source something people don't actually care about.
The Dopplegangers in Symphony Of The Night can be frozen with the Stopwatch which make the fight all too easy.
I liked also head hunter from aria of sorrow with all those heads change and all, yeah we saw that in the classic wonder boy arcade in the end but its much creepier to see it on a castlevania game. Also the trio boss in symphony of the night isn't called fake trio but zombi trio as i know. Also a hint for the doppelganger in symphony of the night, just use stop watch get close and start hitting him, works if i remember correctly in the first encounter only.
Grant is the one that throw knife from the ceiling and Trevor is the one to use the whip.
if you were a true fan or old school gamer who spent hours in this game like many fans here, you probably would already know that. I guess that you don't know that these three were the protagonist and friends of Alucard back in 1400 during the events of Castlevania III….
But, to be fair, that's an amazing list.
# 4 and # 3. just use the clock item.
The best Castlevania Boss is Death/Zobek, from Lords of Shadow 2.
The top is very disappointed
Hugh, from circle of the moon
What about the iconic Medusa?
I wish watchmojo editors would double check their work. At the end, that is the final fight against death from Lament of Innocence, not Curse of Darkness
aria of sorrow is my favorite castlevania 🙂
top 10 castlevania 2d *
Fun fact: The Fake Trio are actually the playable characters from Castlevania 3 on the NES. Also, this is the game that introduced us to Alucard
"The Forgotten one" in Lament of Innocence. Easily rapes all these bosses combined in terms of challenge and thrill.
what about lament of Innocence
Don't even need to see the list. Its common sense that Death, Legion, and some form of Chaos and Dracula are on here
Succubus was one or the easiest battles in SOTN and it's an honorable mention?
Ok the Dracula/Death boss fight was awesome and deserves the #1 but to have all but two of the entries to be from the Meroidvania family. What a lame list.
they forgot to mention "The Forgotten One" from Lament of innocence that boss was pretty hard.
castlevania curse of darkness forgotten one ?
How is puppet master better than chaos??
"Grant attacks with the whip and Trevor drops knives from the ceiling."…
Good call on the #1 here. That was easily one of the most intense boss battles in the entire franchise. The fake trio, however, is also found in this same game… they're just not a required battle like in SOTN. They're basically a bonus fight, as they are in the Nest Of Evil, which isn't required to conquer to finish the game.
this video disgusts me.
Doppelganger is nothing if you bring the stopwatch
my personal favorite boss in the series is the toy maker from Castlevania: Lords of shadow 2
Lords of Shadow was a damn challenging and entertaining game. The second had a lot of flaws, but the first is one of the finest stories/quality/gameplay/replay value, for this franchise. But… I think this was made with the 2D crowd in mind… :/
Sorry but the Ortega fight in Castlevania 64 is by far the greatest boss fight in the series.
Really any doppelganger fight could have been on this list.
The best one is Dracula in the first castlevania.
Curse of darkness or Lament Of Innocence?? — 9:30
9:31 that's not Curse of Darkness
I would have put Galamoth from castlevania SotN on the list, epic boss with one of the deadliest and massive attacks in my opinion.
I remember playing this on NINTENDO….
Lords of shadows boss battles are great. I like Death in lament of innocence too.
iron "torture chambers"…..you mean IRON MAIDENS
2:20 You need to kill the eyes before the black hole x)
Trevor is the whip guy, like all Belmonts, isn't it?
omg rlt no boss from the cast lords of shadow ?
they didnt mention anything about castlevania 64 …
I love Watchmojo, but cmon, Galamoth should be on here. One of the most difficult bosses ever. The commentary's kinda off too, portraying the Fake Trio as a difficult challenge. They were pretty easy. And, no mention that they are duplicates of heroes from Castlevania 3? AND mixing up the names of Trevor and Grant? C'mon.
missed the dracula of circle of the moon
what about the forgotten one? where you jerk and did you forget about him too? xD
Gear Steamer wasn't a memorable fight. There were much better bosses in Bloodlines. Also, Galamoth should've been on this list, being the most powerful boss in one of the best Castlevania games ever made
What about Galamoth????? u_u
Not a single one from the newer games.
