For this list, we’re looking at the most exciting or scariest scenes from the movies spanning the first “Alien” to “Alien: Resurrection.” As we’re only looking at the main movies, we are excluding “Prometheus” from the list.

Dude! The scene where the chick with the bandanna yells out "We got a live one here!!" and then the alien pops out and they torch the both of them. That scene was scary as fuck! I would have put it on the list 🙂
that thumbnail tho
I remember watching alien at the age of 12 it scared the shit out of me but that's what made it an amazing movie franchise!
They only come out at night mostly…
The scene with Dallas in the air shaft is nerve rattling…with the music playing in the background and Lambert getting hysterical. The first Alien I consider a masterpiece by Ridley Scott.
Resurrection is an abomination.
Ugh, I think Prometheus is more of an Alien movie than Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection. The franchise kind of underplayed the original themes that make the first movie so intriguing. It was no longer about curiosity and fear of the unknown, freaky sexual reproduction, mysterious civilizations, and human greed for power. It became less sci-fi and more about getting chased by visible monsters. I'm glad Ridley Scott took over again, hope Alien: Covenant is going to be a good story, and not just a dumbed-down action movie.
What, no facehugger? It's one of the most viscerally repellent ideas in all of the horror genre. Surely the moment that it explodes from the egg and melts through John Hurt's helmet was worth a placement in this list for it's suspense and sheer shock value.
i love how the chestburster was like "seeya later mutherfuckers!" as it flew off the table…
at 7:35 ho I fell on lake of ice cream and I just farted
That heartbeat sound in Alien was perfect to add to the tension.
You forgot Parker and Lambert's death scene.
Thnk God The Chestburster topped the list.
My favourite moment has allways been the countdown to self destruction of the Nostromos (Alien 1). All the noise and the voice commands of mother make it very intense.
I just clicked on this cuz I'm tired of seeing that nasty thumbnail. Didn't even watch this shit, skipped to the end
i think aliens are smart
I love the ''let's roll'' in aliens, she was so fucking cool!!
Hmmm, I knew Alien and Aliens would run away with most of the choices, but Alien 3 needs a tad more love. Lose the dropship scene from your honorable mentions and replace it with the cremation/Dillon's eulogy scene from Alien 3.
One of the most scariest moments was in Alien 1 in end when Ripley is in the small ship shuttle and the Alien is there all the time and suddenly he moves! OMG i jumped in fear for real, was not expecting this…Ridley Scott did a masterpiece of claustrophobic horror…
this comment is meant for the actual people at watchmojo. see my friend says you guys are wrong and that the "Get over here you bitch" moment was in aliens 3 and he said he contacted you saying you told him "we are sorry for our mistake" now he also said he contact you through a email account
Alien ahahahah a
Alien is the best fucking movie ever
regarding number four and the part where Ripley burns all of the Queen's eggs, I've always kind of wondered whether the screaming was just a sympathetic pain (that is, she was screaming in rage) or whether she actually felt the pain from the eggs burning, even though she herself (mostly) wasn't hit by it/them
I actually liked Alien 3. It was well
"game over man, game cover!"
rip Bill Paxton
Think they were a bit unfair to allot all but two places to Alien/Aliens. Resurrection was mostly pants besides the underwater sequence but Alien3 deserved at least one more spot. Either Clemons (Charles Dance) death or the chase sequence and aliens death preceding Ripley's own comes to mind
we need fat alien
Best sci-fi movie franchise ever! Hope Alien: Covenant doesn't disappoint, will be interesting to see the new neomorph & protomorph creatures in it and how the movie ties in to Alien.
About your Number 8 entry: No argument per se… But! There is a moment in that
scene – and mind you, this is before the grown alien reveals itself to
Brett and the audience – in which the alien is straight up center stage
and in plain sight for about two seconds. If you haven't spotted it, go
watch that scene and see if you can!
the first alien movie put me to sleep honestly…. except at the end……… was watching with some friends and when the girl is taking off her cloths one of em said "that girls got no ass". didn't stop laughing til the credits rolled in.
Alien. The best criature. Perfection.
The films in continuity are Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and Prometheus.
7:32 bukake 😀
I have scene alien about 100 times and it still manages to scare me. good job ridly scott
7:34 looks almost like a bukkake (search bukkake on urban dictionary if you don't know what it is)
