I go to school then after school i go to work. So yes, it's hot as balls and i live in Houston so it's humid on top of that. Thought if i went to work in the morning i would still sweat, because of the humidity being the highest in the morning. Plus, i'm a waiter at a fancy restaurant so i can't ride my bike in my suit, i would ruin it.
Its subconscious, so it wont take the "whores" out, you will be left with one who likes you more than subconscious tells him not to.. In other words, if you have a car, more women like you.. Same way we male like attractive females, and think of them as "fun" etc. Even tho there is ugly girls which is are more "your type".
I bike to work. I Bike to the Slaughter House each day. I ride as Fast as I Can. Actually I Ride right past the Slaughter House…..Fast. I Don't even have a job. I tried to get one….at the Slaughter House….The man said I had A good shot at a temporary position….Probably wouldn,t last the day he said. It's tough being unemployed but I guess you have to take what they offer. He said I might spend half the day their and then the last half at the Supermarket. Mrpigman69 on youtube WATCH!!
Most people have to wear dress clothes though. The only jobs that i can think of that you don't wear dress clothes for are minimum wage or manual labor jobs. So it really does apply to the majority.
it's funny, you're saying that while enjoying the luxuries of burning oil. The plastics in your computer, your chairs, your medical devices. The food that keeps you alive. This "oil" keeps you out of a third world country were you'd probably wouldn't be born in the first place.
Been riding 5 miles to work for a few years. All year round. I live in the northeast and in general the weather isnt too bad. During the winter no one bikes but me, but its fun. I'm glad I do it. Im not in great shape either, and you get used to it very quickly.
Best part of all is I save thousands of dollars a year since I don't drive.
F this stuff! I ride to work and all over town. My gasoline bills are almost non-existent. You do get in better shape. But you had better watch out for all the a** hole bad drivers if you live in a big city.
some of these people forget that biking to work is not hard… when you work a cake job thats close to home at convenient hours to bike. Im not biking 30 miles to a labor job in the dark at 4 in the morning
I'll soon start riding my bike to work. I've been biking for many years, but it's just that I'm a bit nervous to ride to work along busy roads. I just wish I was living in a bike-friendlier city. Here in the southern parts of the US (Louisiana, Mississippi, etc) roads aren't too bike friendly and the big pickup trucks hate sharing the road with bikes. But I love riding bikes and will be saving both money and the environment the more I ride and the lesser I drive.
Tip number one: Buy a pair of Marathon Plus. Congratulations, you will not get any punctures and can predictably get to work on time every day – always have pumped up tyres at the end of the day as well. Nothing worse than trying to fix a puncture in cold wet weather.
Bicycles have as much right to the roads as you do. And the roads are NOT as you put it "our" roads (referring to car drivers). BTW Less demand for gasoline just might keep down prices, so shut yer yap.
I ride 15 miles to work, in Michigan, last time I rode to work was late Dec. looking to pick up again whenever temps are in the mid 20's without ice or snow. I love riding to work and I'm glad that most of the time I have bike paths that are far from traffic even if they are wooded and remote.
You don't have to go fast and be sweaty when you get to work. A slow leisurely pace will still give you exercise. If it was 5 miles instead of 50 miles to work, I would ride my bike. Bikes, motorcycles and even mopeds have the same rights and responsibilities as the gas hogs and the hogs that don't like to share the roads with us!
You should really look into folding bikes. You can fold up your bike and carry it where ever you go. Monague makes good quality folding bikes but you'll be paying a high price for quality. There's plenty of cheaper folding bikes but I would go visit a local bike shop and try before you buy.
depending on where you live bikes can be faster than cars, also a lot of power plants are Coal powered, so electric cars aren't the best solution either
yeah im riding 60km a day to work and back 🙂 Its not that much fun and after one week i´m done. But its a nice training and it helps my diabetes a lot. But i don´t drive in bad rainy conditions

what the hell is this
how about we burn U
It seems more like they're trying to convince you to do it rather than give you tips…
Ok that make sense, that an exception though.
So "Ruin your work clothes and smell bad all day long" isnt a con that applies to everyone.

You forgot to add that after riding all the time you'll be able to crack walnuts with your thighs.

im not biking 10 miles to work…-_-

These people look like jerkoffs.

The only thing that sucks about riding a bike to work is everyone else. Bike rage is easy to get
Thats true, but any job wear you have an office (or locker) you could put just your work shirt in a bag and simply change when you get there.
oh boy, more smelly people at work
ohh snap! I finally get this phrase. lol 😮

People got to come to holland when they want a bike friendly city
I bike to work when I don't have to work nights. It's pretty chill and you feel more productive.

No because you just get a Brooks saddle. Cycling isn't faggy, its demanding. Driving a car sat on your ass is faggotry.

My commute is only 2 1/2 miles 🙁
Soon, cars will be electric. I could definitely not commute on a bike unless I wanted to wake up at 4 in the morning.

Ok, but where I live is hydroelectric powered. And where I live, biking definitely wouldn't be faster.

I bike to work 6 miles each way 5 days a week…72 miles a week…and will do it as long as the weather allows esp. in central Illinois..
I bike 17.2 miles to work daily 😀 The return trip sucks.
Lot of fat people in the comment section.
That's how I started a few years ago, but now I just ride for fun in Mesa Arizona.
