Description:
Thanks to the Internet, we have endless amounts of knowledge and information at our fingertips. Those who weren’t able to attend college can now be enlightened with knowledge, and those who are in school can use the Internet to help their studies. Not to mention that the Internet holds the key to the latest news, television, movies, and more. Life-changing events can happen thanks to the internet, and people can make a different from their computers and phones. But, at the same time, the Internet can also be the source of endless time wasting. Meaning that you can spend hours doing something that doesn’t contribute to anything productive. The amount of time that people waste on the Internet could truly be used to making the world a better place, or even a bit richer. But, we also need some time to unwind and do something completely mindless. So what useless activities are available out there?
There’s Pointerpointer.com, where you can scroll through pictures of people pointing to where you cursor is. It’s an amusing site, albeit not very clever. But you can also marvel at how the website knows exactly where your cursor is and can drum up a photo to match it in a matter of seconds. If you’re looking for something more of the furry feline type, you can head over to Catbounce.com. On this site, it’s “litter-ally” a bunch of cat pictures bouncing from the bottom of the screen. You can use your mouse to make more bouncing occur, and there are other cool little settings to make the cat bouncing even more interesting. If you would rather be looking at cats that look like a German dictator, you will enjoy Catsthatlooklikehitler.com, which has a plethora of photos of cute little kitties whose fur patterns look like Hitler’s classic toothbrush mustache.
If you want to enjoy a site that’s a bit politically incorrect along with sending you to hell, then check out MichaelJFoxnews.com, which is a mirror site of the Fox News page. The difference? It’s shaking as if the web page has Parkinson’s disease. Before you think you’re an awful person, the website does donate money to Parkinson’s research.
Now, for a more creepy discussion, have you ever seen a weird looking man with dark hair in your dreams? Then you should visit Thisman.org, where thousands of people have reported around the world of seeing the same guy. Is he a real life Leonardo DiCaprio in “Inception”? Is this man the devil? Who knows, but the website is collecting stories and experiences of those who’ve seen him in slumber.
For a more random time waster, then look into Onemilliongiraffes.com, where a guy was dared that he couldn’t find one million pictures of giraffes. Taking on the challenge, the man was successful, and you can check out his work. Then there is wwwdotcom.com, which will take you to a page that declares itself the last page of the Internet.
If these time wasters aren’t enough for you, then check out the rest of the video. We’ll see you on the wasteland!
