The Walk Official Trailer #2 (HD) 2015, Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man – Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. Guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy (Ben Kingsley), and aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, Petit and his gang overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan. Robert Zemeckis, the director of such marvels as Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Back to the Future, Polar Express and Flight, again uses cutting edge technology in the service of an emotional, character-driven story. With innovative photorealistic techniques and IMAX 3D wizardry, The Walk is true big-screen cinema, a chance for moviegoers to viscerally experience the feeling of reaching the clouds. The film, a PG-rated, all-audience entertainment for moviegoers 8 to 80, unlike anything audiences have seen before, is a love letter to Paris and New York City in the 1970s, but most of all, to the Towers of the World Trade Center.

Not going to lie, my jaw was already dropping open at the end of the trailer.
Jeez
Jean-Ralphio! 1:53
Has anybody here seen Man on Wire? One of the best documentaries ever!
Spoilers he does walk across the buildings and he doesn't die.
People should just watch the documentary Man on a Wire. This movie seems so pointless.
OMG! He wants to be Spiderman, don't do, you don't have Spidey powers.
Spoiler: Bulidings will fall. He don't.
Looks interesting but still kind of meh… I mean I love Joseph Gordon-Levitt but aren't there better scripts out there for better "True Stories"? Walking over a cable between two buildings? Is Hollywood running out of ideas? Oh well. /small-rant.
Thanks for showing the ending
Yeah, I've already seen "Man on Wire". Not sure why I need to see the Hollywood BS version.
He slips and dies. The End.
Looks good. JDL is a good choice for the lead. Not sure about his French accent though. Hopefully it'll grow on me throughout the film.
I have a serious fear of heights. This movie is going to give me a heart attack. It'll definitely be the scariest movie of all time.
What Philippe Petit did was extraordinary, crazy, foolish and brilliant, all at the same time. Achievements that combine all the above are probably counted with one hand. We say that Petit had guts of steel because he survived. If he hadn't he would have been remembered for his suicidal foolishness rather than his unparalleled bravery. If you really think about it there is a very thin line separating a fool's lack of fear and real bravery.
Somebody once said "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear". A very valid quote about this film (and Philippe Petit's life) I guess.
Wow, this trailer was really well done; I got the goosebumps towards the end even though I knew it would end like that.
Robert Zemeckis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are behind this. That's pretty much all I need to know to feel confident about this movie.
Just watch Man on Wire.
Spoiler alert: "just watch man on wire" is half the comments.
This is the dumbest plot for a movie in a long time.
