Who was the genius who came up with the idea to make a 7-minute video about the history of Depeche Mode!?!? I mean, they shouldn't have go through all that trouble, to create even 7 minutes for a band that exists for more than 30 years, have sold over 100 million records, who are officially the best selling electronic band ever, etc, etc… WatchMojo – WHAT A FUCKING IDIOTS!
Songs of faith and devotion was the downfall and the band losing Alan whom was so under appreciated. I have them as they are the best band….but they have not sounded great since 1990.
this is absolute rubbish. Vince Clarke was in DM before Martin Gore, he went on to work with Alison Moyet and then Erasure (if people know the group). As for Martin Gore, guitarist my arse, he only first played the guitar on violator. I know the lady is reading but the guy who wrote this should be shot at birth.
Add something about them last really hard record called "Spirit" (17.03.2017), which is my favourite Depeche Mode album ever, expect "Music for the Masses", "Ultra", "Songs of Faith and Devotion" and "Playing the Angel".
Depeche Mode. Wow, just WOW. One of life goals achieved – seeing one of the best bands in this universe live. Arena was full, time flew so fast. I am so full of emotions. Still humming every song from yesterday. After all these years, this band rock, and will continue to rock. Hearing all the best songs – Precious, Enjoy The Silence, It's No Good, World in My Eyes, Everything Counts, Stripped, A Question of Time, Personal Jesus and so much more. Thank you so much Depeche Mode – Andy Fletcher, Martin Gore and Dave Gahan. Love your music. <3
I literally busted into tears, I can't believe how much Depeche Mode means to me and the fact that I'll be seeing them live in less than a month is just too good to handle. Thanks for existing DM, my favorite band, the best band ever!!!
Ok I was 6 when thier first album came out and knew nothing about them. When the second album came out my older sister got it and I listened to it with her whenever I could. By the time Some Great Reward came out they were my favorite band and they still are.
