Description:
There is no doubt that the Earth is indeed, a beautiful place to live. With vast amounts of land and sea that has still yet to be explored, the beauty of this Earth is astounding and has led people to argue for centuries whether a divine creator was behind the design of the marble blue planet. However, not all places around Earth are beautiful, and instead, they are just downright creepy and terrifying. Some of these creepiest places on Earth are man-made (like that is shocking), or they have been corrupted by man as locations for suicide, such as the Aokigahara Forest, which is swept every year and hundreds of bodies are discovered. Perhaps the forest is convenient in location for someone to take a life. Or maybe there is an unseen supernatural force behind the hundreds of suicides that have taken place at this location over time.
If you’re into creepy stuff while you’re in Japan, then take a trip to the abandoned Hashima Island, which is only about fifteen kilometers from Nagasaki, where the second of the bombs were dropped by the United States. The island was also known as “Battleship Island” and was a coal mining facility until 1974 when Mitsubishi shut it down. Since then, the island remains uninhabited with the building decaying falling apart.
If you’re looking for something in the United States, then take a visit to the Winchester Mystery House, which is believed to be very haunted. In fact, the belief in ghosts is actually what drove Sarah Winchester to keep building rooms and staircases in 1884 for 38 years. Some of the staircases just go to the ceiling with no destination, and some of the rooms don’t have any specific purpose. Why did Sarah build so many rooms? To confuse the ghosts.
If you’re a big fan of Stephen King’s “The Shining”, both the film and the book, then you should definitely visit the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The hotel served as inspiration for the location, being regarded as one of the most haunted hotels in America, and the hotel’s spooky history inspired King’s chilling tale while he was staying there in room 217.
If that’s not scary enough for you, then hop on a plane to Paris and check out the mines. Not only are there creepy tunnels, but the Catacombs are also located in these vast tunnels. So, if you break the law and manage to get into these old mines, you may run into walls and ceilings of human bones. In short, you’re pretty much walking through a vast graveyard instead of just plain stone tunnels.
After you visit the mines of Paris, then head over to Ireland to visit Leap Castle, which is believed to be haunted by a hunched back ghost known as the Elemental, not to mention being rather violent. While in the midst of restoring the castle, construction workers found three cartloads of human remains in a pit covered with spikes. The castle is rather beautiful to look at, but it clearly has a torturous past.
These are just a few of the creepiest places in the world. Take a peek at the video and learn more, if you dare!

Though Aokigahara might be well known for many people to commit suicide, it's still a well known sight seeing spot of beautiful and peaceful forest. I don't know why this place attracts so many death.
Why does it always have to be abandoned places? Why can't we have puppies farms instead?
I recognize Hashima, Japan from an anime movie!
I went to the Winchester Mystery house two or three years ago, and honestly I was disappointed to see no ghosts. But it WAS pretty cool

Who's coming?
If I'm in a open, haunted place, my back facing the darkness, I'll start to get paranoid and want to watch the darkness by a wall to see anything that might attack or scare me. I get a paranoid feeling while walking down a hallway, and I always close and turn the lights off when I exit a room.
'The derp' I am in
I'm not going anywhere near those places.
Is it a man's voice
