I love jax teller
Money can't buy happiness but poverty causes misery, stress and a sense of being dehumanised.
Money can bring a sense of stability, security and open doors. This is a good basis for happiness because we put value on these aspects of life.
The problem is we are taught that anything with monetary value is an answer to fill a void, when in reality, it isn't. Advertising taps into our primal desires and sells us the idea that 'things' will fix emotional needs and issues.
We are very rarely grateful for what we DO have in the West, which is why the suicide rate is much lower in third world countries. Third world countries are more focussed on family, honour and gratitude for things we barely even acknowledge in the West.
subtitles you lazy fucks
