If you look at the language of the bible, it's made up if metaphors and colorful language to make a point. Adam and Eve were in pure innocence (children have no shame being naked) and "the serpent" (the advisory) took their childhood away. We were given freedom to make decisions and the choices are not there to confuse but enlighten. Each faze of scripture is an evolution in revealing the mind of God. Jesus ultimately showed that God loves us and wants us to be free from guilt.
so youre telling me that after Satan screwed up his plan God spent thousands of years creating a special plan that required him to send himself on a suicide mission to save us from himself?
Does anyone know the song in this trailer?
Morbid Angel is in it, nuff said
"SEE YOU IN HELL… from Heaven"
– Rev. Lovejoy
no but i know that david rempel the producer is my dad….. 🙂
it's about hell:)
"It is not God that is worshiped but the authority that claims to speak in His name. Sin becomes disobedience to authority not violation of integrity"
What song is this it?
Hell is a made up concept by Pagan Egyptians, centuries before Christ. The Hyroglyphics and the myths that accompanied pagan ideas all came from Egypt and "hell" is one of them. By all means believe in it if you like but it was MADE UP by pagans, in the same way had I made up a fantasy money island somewhere in the Pacific.
This'll make people angry and damn me in their eyes, but you ever think the serpent did us a favour? The Judeo-Christian god wanted us ignorant, never able to question, evolve or grow. Sounds like he wanted us to be little dolls in his play garden, or perhaps he feared that with knowledge might come the ability to surpass or usurp him someday? The serpent seems more Promethean than pure evil in this regard.
I also wonder at some of the warped logic around hell as the ultimate jail for bad guys. Yet, according to some, as a baptised christian Hilter could have repented at the end and been forgiven, yet an athiest who otherwise lives a good and generous lifestyle can be sent to said jail for not believing correctly. Seems to highlight to the difference between law and justice nicely.
Religion is for weak minded fools.
Idiotic assessment. Try to kill someone on the streets and if nothing happens.
Think, fool, think.
So that makes you the worst kind. You consciously chose to follow and eat up this nonsense. At least, force fed children had no choice.
Paranoid schizophrenic
And I'm one of them. No true freedom in deconversion if you were indoctrinated.
The name of the song on the trailer is This Isn't Over Yet by Yuca.
Jesus spoke of hell ONLY to his disciples, and related Hell to the garbage dump. Destruction. So…really…it's death. The second death.
WHat Name of this song ?
Thanks you so much !
It is a good film, worth seeing…fear not.
is this what The Exorcist was copying when they said things lost in cravenlandia
Hell is a lie. People like Mark Driscoll is a hateful scumbag posing as a Christian.Â
I ask questions because God gave me a brain and told me to not rely on man's interpretation of Scripture but to learn Scripture itself by understanding the culture, original languages and being able to distinguish b/w figurative and literal. Â
Hell is a lie. Â This is worth watching.Â
The Bible speaks of judgement in varied and nuanced ways. Theologians cherry-pick texts to make some kind of consistent construct; they simplify nuance. They resist (seeming) inconsistency. (though most have come to accept the 3-in-oneness of God). There is language of punishment for the wicked. There is also language of "eternal destruction". And there are just enough hints at some sort of universalism to keep that movement alive. Church leaders and ministries thrive on "having the answers". Faith might just thrive better on a sense of wonder and adventure in walking with/toward the "God (who) is love" with the kind of confidence suggested by 1 John 3. A confidence that is God-embracing and engaging—-not God avoiding. The cross is the "trysting place where heaven's love and heaven's justice meet", as one old hymn suggests. The gospel "reveals" both the righteousness and the wrath of God. We always need the "cleft of the rock" to come near. But we need to come near.  "Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved". We can't skip the first part of that without hiding the fear somewhere deep.Â
Am eternal hell is a Roman Catholic belief used to trick it's followers into giving more money into the pockets of the corrupt. The bible say's hell will be a punishment to the individuals who did not receive the mark of God. Time will be served based on the sin's than they will be reduced to nothing. The ultimate ending for those without any real faith to Jesus. Doug Batchelor said it better in Revelation The Bride, the Beast & Babylon.
But here's a verse:
"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."
-John 5:28; 29 (NKJV)
Hell is real and most people do go there. Repent or perish!!!!
