While some of our dogs are content with laying on the couch or digging holes in the backyard, others are always alert and keeping a keen eye on their surroundings. These dogs will be the first to notice if something seems amiss, and that is something that spells disaster for any burglar hoping to make it inside your house. In this video, we’ll introduce you to ten breeds of dogs that any burglar would be horrified to find inside a house. Some of them, like Rottweilers, are dogs that many of us immediately recognize and associate with security. While others like the Belgian Malinois are a bit less well-known, but no less effective when it comes to keeping your home safe from intruders.

Malines is a town in Belgium, not in France. The name in Dutch is Mechelen, in French it is Malines. Malinois is a Belgian dog.
Ummm the Kendal dog is known to be better then most guard dogs.
I have a cross between a German shepherd and a pit bull
I have 2 Dobermans and an Akita
Ur voice ahaha hahahah
I have a fox terrier
Belgian Malinois from Malines in France!!! That's one of the best I've heard today.
Malines (or Mechelen in Dutch) is a city in Flanders, Belgium.
"Ranked second in terms of intelligence just after Border Collies." trump sweats nervously. SWEATING INTENSIFIES
Another bullshit video. "Rottweiler has the highest biteforce of any breed" . They probably have forgotten to mention that the Yorkshire terriër has the seccond strongest bite.
where is the mastiff
Rottweillers don't have the strongest bite…. Mastiff's have the strongest PSI bite of any breed of dog other than the wolf, or Hiena. Most people don't realize it all has to do with head and neck size and sheer muscle mass.
pit bulls have the strongest bites
Any other GSD or Dutch Shepherd owners here?
Little sad Dutchies weren't on the list.
0:40 " No the name comes from the Belgian City Malines (in french) or Mechelen (Dutch)
So, she calls the breed Belgian Malinois and then says it originated in France. Malines (or Mechelen in Flemish) is part of the province of Antwerp, Belgium. Greetings from Antwerp
the odd one s out has a west highland terries name george that name is fromgorge bush there known to hunt small animals
West Highland Terrier? You can't say a 20lb dog is a great, especially not top ten breed of guard dog just because they bark a lot, and are aware of their surroundings. That's 90% of all dogs. An intruder could accidentally step on a West Highland and that's a wrap for the pooch
Dobermans didn't make this list!?
What Malines France. Totally NOT. Malines is located in nothern Belgium where the speak Flamish.
I got two fully trained pit bulls my house didn't get broke into since
This list is so fucking bs
Caucasian shepherd dog and Turkish kangal are the best fuck pit bulls
People HATE Staffy's for NO reason! My dog (which is a Staffy) is VERY PROTECTIVE! Especially with my 3year old sister, Reese! Even if we DO lock the door my dog would always sit by it just in case and she would start barking if anyone was knocking on the door! Although her 2nd birthday is NEXT week, she is STILL VERY protective!
I love German Shepards
Bullmastiff?
Number one is the Fila Brasileiro their ojeriza. Bred to help capture runaway slaves and herd cattle they will bite the shit out of you without being told to. Bred for human aggression aka ojeriza and in dog shows it is allowed for them to snark off at the judges because it is an innate character trait so handlers show the judges their teeth instead of the judges ever being allowed to touch them and get bitten.
its  not fair pits just get bad reputation if you ever had one you would know
Rottweiler's skulls stop growing at a certain time, so the brains suffer damage and they start losing memory of their owners and even act the opposite of what the normally do at older ages.
GERMAN SHEPERDS ausoume
A have SHEBERD
You missed one the Tibetan Mastiff
