I fell asleep watching.
Hey…Aussie Border announcements can goble these nuts…you try being told you can't go somewhere better on this earth cause you're "an alien".
It was a great movie, but I would've liked it more if it were in color. Â Yes I get the point of B&W, but it's too easy of an effect to apply. Â Despite the artistic significance, I can't praise someone for simply clicking the Grayscale option. Â Any viewer can change the color settings on their TV as a film-watching technique and, because of that, B&W is unnecessary as a film-making technique. Â I almost feel insulted by the fact that my freedom as a film-viewer was taken away from me; as though I wouldn't have understood the message of the movie without the completely in-your-face colorlessness. Â Film-makers, please. Give us some credit… and some color.
When this movie was claimed to be an "American Masterpiece" I admit I was intrigued. It's not everyday you see a movie praised so much. But this trailer is awful and the movie looks dull and boring despite the interesting story line. At lest June Squibb's acting looks great. I guess this movie is not suited for a teenager like me. But nevertheless, I admire and respect the staff behind these movie because of how much this movie has been praised.
Great film. Watch it 🙂
I feel like an idiot because i didn't really laugh at any of the parts… nor did i think this movie was that interesting. I thought some of the awkward family parts were portrayed very well but to me the story wasn't too great. I'm probably missing something.Â
Also the music in this movie matches perfectly with the story.
This movie was awesome. Â I keep kicking myself for almost deciding not to see this.
Why would someone make such a movie.
Just watch this movie on this morning 🙂 Nice movie!
This was a good movie. I really liked it.
Reminded me so much of my dads last years. Great movie!
oh yeah that's a winner haha!
Black and white movies didn't disappoint me yet. "Shindler's list" is my number one historical drama. "Good night and good luck" is not bad neither good. "The artist" is a good movie and this one is just hilarious!
Pretentious much?
Loved this movie
so funny, I don't really remember how I made it out of Nebraska.
on second thought, I never did quite make it out.
It has a bit of Fargo in it
Its cool how part of the film was filmed where I live! I easily recognized some places in the film (and in the trailer). We would always see their crew's trailer cars in a local parking lot. Good to see it got a few golden globes.
Kent, wash.?(b.c.)
Will Forte was snub by the Oscars
LOL at the girl who broke up with David. He's handsome and nice and she's fat and unattractive, wtf.
It was an Edward Hopper painting come true. The dying American Dream.
very good but sad movie
Well, cut my legs off and call me shorty! Is that General Sandy Smithers I see?
One of the best movies I have ever seen 🙂
The Elegy for The American Dream.
this was a good and sad movie.. made me think about how life is short and that we must appreciate our parents and be with them.
