A History of Dracula In Film (HD) JoBlo.com Exclusive
We took a look back over the past century to explore the different incarnations of one of the greatest film monsters ever created…Count Dracula.
Good video as always.
RIP Christipher Lee 🙁
Thanks to this film so interesting, I personally think Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola
is the best, and close behind Nosferatu by F. W. Murnau
lol george hamilton, bella lugosi and frank langella all are some FABULOUS draculas. FIERCE
I only care for Gary Oldman's DRACULA, the HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA movies, and DRACULA UNTOLD!
Ah man, I forgot about the Halloween That Almost Wasn't, I watched the crap out of that when I was younger.
Frank Langella, man. I still have that film soundtrack on vinyl.
Great film! To me, the most faithfull versions are the 1977 miniseries (BBC) and Coppola version. However the most faithfull portrayal, in my opinion, is from the 1970 version Count Dracula with Christopher Lee. This film has a curious story. When Lee was playing Dracula for Hammer Films, he wasn't satisfied with his role, because he considered it had less to do with Bram Stoker original novel. So he decided to accept the invitation to do a low rated movie but wich became the most faithfull portrayal of Dracula. It's the only movie where Dracula appears as Bram Stoker described. A gray man with moustache. And it's the first movie (the other is Coppola version), where Dracula becomes younger. Inspite of that, the rest of the movie is very bad and not very faithfull to the novel.
some very good actors in there very nice
The best of the bunch are, in my humble opinion:
10 Duncan Regehr
9 John Caradine
8 Louis Jordan
7 Frank Langella
6 Klaus Kinsky
5 Gary Oldman
4 Max Schreck
3 Jack Palance
2 Bela Lugosi
1 Christopher Lee
