This video shows everything that I pack in my travel toiletry bag.
Here’s everything that’s in my toiletry bag right now:
Shampoo bar
Hairbrush
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Nail File
Deodorant
Razors (2)
Tongue Scraper
Acne Spot Treatment
Travel Sized Soap
Makeup Removing Towel
Travel Sized Dry Shampoo
V-Magic
Menstrual Cup
Contacts
Hair Accessories
Emergency Tampons
Ear Cleaner
Perfume
Now let’s break it down. First, everything that I always keep in my toiletry bag even when I’m not traveling. That way I can just grab it and go:
– J.R. Liggetts Shampoo Bar Original Formula
– Crystal Travel Deodorant
– Travel Toothbrush with a Case
– Razor (1)
– Dr. Bronner’s Travel Sized Peppermint Castile Soap (which I use as body wash and toothpaste for shorter trips)
– Acure Mini Dry Shampoo
– Mini V-Magic (works as a good hydrator down there and as a chapstick, salve, or deep moisturizer)
– Mini Perfume Tester
– A Couple of Individual Contacts
– CVS Brand Ear Cleaner
– Bobby Pins
– Extra Hair Ties
– Desert Essence Blemish Touch Stick
Then, things that I bring on shorter trips depending on the situation:
– Hairbrush (I always bring this but I only have one so I have to add it to my toiletry bag before I leave)
– Lunette Menstrual Cup (I only take it if I’m on my period or think I’ll get my period while I’m traveling, that’s what the emergency tampons are for)
– Makeup Removing Towel (I use this with coconut oil which I haven’t been able to find a good way to transport in a mini size. I had some sample packets but I used all of them. But I only bring this if I plan on wearing makeup during the trip)
– Extra Hair Accessories (depending on what day of my hair washing cycle I’m on I bring different things. Usually elastics are for dirtier days and clips/head bands are for cleaner days)
Next, things I bring on longer trips that I can totally live without for a couple of days/a week:
– Homemade Toothpaste (Dr. Bronner’s is good for a little while but I definitely prefer my homemade version long term)
– Extra Razors (I definitely need to invest in a reusable razor!!)
– Preserve Tongue Scraper (made from yogurt cups!)
– Extra Perfume (Kuumba Made Frankincense & Myrrh)
And finally, all of the beauty/toiletry items I brought for my 3 month trip to Colombia:
– Toiletry Bag
– Coconut Oil
– Makeup Bag
– Instyler Straightener/Curler
– Box of Contacts
– Pasties (would NOT recommend the brand that I’m using!)
– Nail Kit (I didn’t end of bringing mine but I usually do and I totally regret it and I had to buy a nail file)
