The first and figth xmen movies pretending to be a canidate/company.
Can't forget the advertising for the first "War of the Worlds."
Fuck you guys. I clicked to see what the District 9 stunt was (considering it was THE THUMBNAIL) and you didn't even mention it
60, 000 for Blair Witch, half of the movie is at night with a shaky camera,
I would have mentioned this wonderful Blair Witch television show they had. It was on Sci-Fi I think (Back when it was called Sci-Fi?) And it was a History of the Blair Witch. Some history of the area and the woods, historical names mentioned like the Bell Witch, drawings in old books, historians, excerpts from a 1970s "In Search Of" type show, up to the police searching for the missing teens in the present. Spiffy!
10 Cloverfield Lane had a great marketing strategy.
Justkiddingnews
Jk News!
I've seen and enjoyed several of these movies and I really wish I could've experienced their ad campaigns
But cHRONICLE
OMG THAT'S MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER
what about DICTATOR movie
I'm annoyed that district 9 was the thumbnail but wasn't mentioned. wtf.
What about the dawn of the planet of the apes marketing campaign with the simian flu
Not even a mention for Cloverfield T-T
#1 Ghostbusters 2016
Why minions aren't in this list
Oi you assholes at least mention the movie in the thumbnail…Dicks
I remember Blair Witch- a lot of people did think it was a documentary due to the marketing, and then supposedly the shaky cam was making people sick (this was the first film to really make use of it) so there were people who went just to see if they were going to puke.
The Simpsons Movie 2: D'oh!!!
only here because of justkiddingnews' cameo
Deadpool.
Inception's production may have been secret. But that still doesn't stop the WTF'ing of what appears to be a railroad locomotive tearing ass through the streets of Downtown LA.
The interview!!! Like that movie!
Y'all are missing The Matrix
If there were marketing campaigns for books had a list, I'm sure The Enemy would be on this list with the video of The Scared Kid.
Cannibal Holocaust anyone?
شئ جميل جدا و مفيد 😀
Half of these were hardly "innovative", especially compared to grindhouse marketing. Cannibal Holocaust, Snuff, Blood Feast, Doctor Butcher, Mark of the Devil and Last House on the Left are far more worthy of this list.
Why do you ignore the greatness of the campaign for the film 'Artificial Intelligence' with Haley Joel Osment? The movie may not have been hugely successful but the campaign was impressive.
what about the marketing for psycho??
I remember getting a "Seven Days" call.I just re-called the number after that and before they could say "7 days" I said "How many days will it take for you to never call me again lol"
In District 9 in phone number you can see 666
even though I didn't really care for the movie I thought Battlefield Los Angeles had pretty good marketing
