Hey this one was actually great!
As far as the tourniquet myth, the issue is a little more complicated than this video makes it out to be, and with the oversimplification of the issue coupled with the video clips of military movies, I feel there should be a little clarification.
Yes, improperly applied tourniquets are extremely dangerous. They can lead to loss of limb or life, depending on the situation. If you do not have training in the proper application of a tourniquet AND basic emergency first aid, you should absolutely not use it. There is every possibility that you will make the situation worse.
However, this concern does NOT apply to combat or military situations. Every single soldier in the United State Army (which I know from experience) and most likely all the other branches as well, receives training and instruction on the proper use and application of a tourniquet. Medical studies regarding soldier deaths on the battlefield have found that the proper application of a tourniquet is the single most effective life saving technique in combat. So the tourniquet does have its place as an emergency medical procedure in certain situations for those that have been trained in its use.
I feel that this video conveys the message that tourniquets should never be used, which is untrue, because of the manner that it is presented. An expert opinion or exception are not mentioned in that segment as they were in several others. I would feel much better if the information I presented above was mentioned or if the concern specifically of untrained application of a tourniquet were made clearer.
who am I supposed to believe, bear grylls or watch mojo?….. hmmmm idk…
That Bears guy from Man vs. Wild is kind of an ass. The guy happened to uncover a rattlesnake under a log in one episode, and instead of just backing off and letting the thing be, he overreacted and bashed it to death with a stick or rock. Stuff like this is unnecessary and cruel – unless he's actually in real life-threatening danger, he should not be killing or consuming any wildlife just for the sake of his fucking show. If he keeps it up, he'll deserve the same fate as the Crocodile Hunter, except that the CD didn't deserve what happened.
Now that I know that I'll better drink my own piss!
i eat ass! like if you agree
That clip of the dude peeing UP into his mouth. I must find that video. For science.
How about the one that all gamers can survive a zombie situation.

I've heard drinking your own piss is good for you. Yogis do it, I think it's called Urine Therapy but I'll have to look it up. Give it a googs mate.
so basically they are not myths, but work only in certain situations
Awful voice, my goodness…

Myth #1: Bear Grylls knows anything about survival.
Childhood ruined.
If this video tells me I don't have to get butt naked to survive I probably won't want to exist on this planet anymore

You can't need survival tips,
If you never leave your house.
yeah youre right, its better to bleed to death…
your myth on tourniquets is also a myth. it does not have to be a last resort. CAT style tourniquets are wonderful devices for stopping blood is need be. due to the typical EMS transport time not being over long, it poses almost no threat to the limb. EMS personal need to stop being told that there things are bad, they can save lives if use correctly and in a timely fashion instead of twiddling around thing should you use it or not.
if you see this comment, I hope you have a good day.
well #1 was a real pisser. who'da thought there'd be little to no water in urine unless you're already well hydrated.
I believed in all of them like a dumb fuck, but what credibility does Watchmojo have, ha ha.
What I love most about all the survival shows: they won't last longer than a week or they will be all seriously affected by malnutrition. Besides primitives and wolf-children, no human seems to be able feed himself sufficiently in the wild anymore…
