Andy Serkis as gollum/smeagol should be on here
SIIIGGGHHH! How can Tom Cruise get an Honourable mention for arguably the worst film of the 21st century, over the likes of the incomparable Robert de Niro crying over his failure as a father in Silver Linings Playbook! Still think the Oscars got it wrong then, and think WatchMojo wasted a spot now….
Edward Norton in Primal Fear. His performance in that otherwise nothing film — which I believe was his first — won him an Academy Award. What became his well-known excellence is apparent in a fantastic performance.
