Wtf where the hell is lemmy!!!!
Rest In Peace cliff we miss u # cliff em all
Cliff Burton should have been higher
Cliff should've been higher.
Les clay pool is fucking number one
How about Glenn Hughes?????
wtf is Chris Squire !!! john entwhistle is in a category by himself. there's no debate…how Steve Harris ranks over Jack Bruce I cannot know…
Geddy's a genius but I'd pick Squire & Entwhistle over him, he'd prolly do the same…
I may be a biased Pink Floyd fan here but I think Roger Waters deserves a mention. He maybe wasn't that skilled but he was extremely influential 🙂
Peter Hook of Joy Division/New Order is top 10 material. Also Gary Tallent of E Street Band… But i guess you're focusing on hard rock/metal.
i love cliff so much…missed him a lot..
That's not Kashmir… BITCH!!!
Where is john entwhistle
these people are off their rockers. I totally agree with flea and Les claypool. they were both innovators. claypool was way ahead of his time. most, not all, but most of the others were in a band that was basically a bass and a drummer. cliff burton died in 1986. I remember seeing him play anesthesia: pulling teeth on the VHS cliff em all and was absolutely blown away. he was shredding strings bigger than a fuckin pencil lead faster than alot of lead guitarists at that time banging his head hard enough to break his neck. if he hadn't drawn died in the bus crash and had the time flea and claypool had to keep playing, there's no telling what metal would sound like these days.
Anyone angry they left out the fact that Burton wrote most of And Justice For All…
Where's johnny Christ?
so john entwistle was the best bassists of the 60s, even he maked the first bass solo on rock history in my generation (its my opinion)
Justin Chancellor from Tool is among the greats too.
geezer Butler only an honorable mention, wtf?
Flea will always be the greatest bassist in my opinion
John Entwhistle family man jack bruce
I stopped watching this when they put Flea 8th, absolute joke, man's easily the best bassist of all time.
How do not at least mention Larry Graham who created slap style and was an influence of Flea?
ROGER WATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MAKE A HUGE MISTAKE NOT ADDING HIM TO AT LEAST THE HONORABLE MENSIONS HAHAHHA
Lemmy ???
Jack Bruce by a country mile!
John Paul Jones should have been #3 over McCartney at the least.
Billy Sheehan must be at no. 1, he's a base guitar god…
Rename to band influenced bass players, not best bassist.
Not McCartney. He is an icon because of The Beatles, NOT because of his bass playing.
Paul McCartney at no. 3. Why!?
1- John Entwistle
2- Geddy Lee
3- John Paul Jones
How is Les Claypool so low the dude revolutionized bass slapping which was nothing like it before. There is no Primus without Les.
Where's Chris Squire?
What's the name of the 9:40 minute song?
Alex Webster, anyone?
Justin Chancellor should've been here
lemmy kilmister
tim commerford?
1. flea
2. john paul jones
3. tim commerford
4. paul maccartney
5. john deacon
6. jack bruce
where's Jason Newsted ? :l
FLEA IS A GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the best lists I've ever seen. Normally, they get 5 or 6 out of the top ten correct by anyone's estimation and name at least three guys that definitely don't belong. But in this case, all of the mentioned belong in the top 20 at least, no matter how biased you are. And they game the top two guys, John Entwistle and Geddy Lee, the proper rankings at the absolute top.. They even explained why a few of the others were top ten players with good reasoning. Not to mention, Paul McCartney and John Paul Jones get ranked around the places they deserve. I am impressed with this list.
not one mention of Lemmy!! what a joke
I hate that bitch and her stupid bitch voice
LEMMY!!!
cliff should be switched out with Robert
Joey Spampinato is #1
