the hardest part for me was when Piggy was murdered :'( I crieeeeed
I don't think they read the book
My favorite part is when Ralph knows its pretty much every kids head on their own from Piggy's death onwards (sad we never know piggies name ..unless that really was his birth name.".. But anyway once reality is completely shattered after the idiot kid drops a boulder on Piggy's head this is the last and only reminder for ralph that he is alone on the island and the kids he knew are know blood letters and no more having had the lines of reality blurred by a supposed entity on the island and murder between the boys, and the shock of surviving a horrible accident… Coulda happened to anyone. But yeah once its pretty much set in stone Ralph has to run but has nowhere he can goto. Thank god for them boars tho. >>
i thought ralph represented order
I fucking hate that discover commercial, it's so damn stupid.
Inside of us. No. This is inside boys not girls
If only Ralph was like 16 or something, then he could have easily kept them in line
Are you guys WatchMojo.com doing this list because Warn.Bros have started a remake of the film Lord Of The Flies with an all female cast?
Thx for the quiz review
I fucking hate this book
This will never work with women ever.
the adults put them there…. something that military secrets don't won't you to know about

Jack needs his ass beat. I wanted to beat his ass so bad in this book
In the book it was determined by the readers if Piggy and Ralph had actually participated in the murder of Simon, and Roger who wasn't mentioned had killed Piggy, also Simon's "hallucinations" can be inferred as a condition, in the beginning of the book he passes out and the choir brushes it off and informs that Simon always passes out, after talking to the lord of the flies, Simon passes out, which the reader can infer that he has some sort of condition. Also during his death, the dead pilot floats off of the mountain due to the storm and that also scares the littl'uns as he falls into the ocean. When Simon was carried by the waves, he had been surrounded by glowing creatures that signified the light or good that was slowly starting to drift away from the boys.
It takes place in WWII
But it has SWEARING and it's my school book
0:07 "it's one of the most famous DYSTOPIAN novels"
Dystopian?
Wrong genre!!!
The novel was allegorical not dystopian
Why do yanks always ruin english things
fuck u watchmojo u did not say no spoilers dickheads
Ralph doesn't help kill Simon retards
Simon represent Christ he had the information that could save lives, Jesus also had life saving knowledge.
Watch mojo! You got a lot of things wrong in this video
The characters for the 1990 Lord of the Flies are better in my opinion
Hey, I'm surprised you didn't mention that much about the pig head on the stick, otherwise known as Lord of the Flies. It is actually symbolic of Satan as Lord of the Flies actually translates to Beelzebub, which is another name for the devil.
The question a teacher asked me is "do you think that Ralph and Piggy were in the circle of boys stabbing Simon to death?"
The war isn't imagined, the war is WWII
This book is pure brainwashing. No wonder the US government wants kids read this illuminati garbage!
I swear this is the only literature book that I was forced to read where I actually enjoyed reading it. I really disliked Scarlet in Study (Sherlock Holmes), Holes and Charlotte's Web. This was the only book I actually loved to study about. It has so much symbolism and meaning. I used to think this book was terrifying because of how it opened my eyes to the truth, but that's also the reason why I loved it. idk… make any sense?
DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO IF YOU WANT A PASSING GRADE ON YOUR EXAM FOR THIS BOOK!! THERE ARE MANY THIS THEY SAY THAT IS NOT CORRECT!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Wow this was a high school read here…takes me back lol
"Lord of the flies" was part of the English literature curriculum when I was at school. Our female English teacher always seemed to bring everything back to a sexual angle.
