Hey guys, Dan from WatchMojo Here.
For those that are wondering why FNAF is a bit higher than Outlast…well, we spoke about it and we just thought those crazy animal things were more memorably nightmarish than murderous mental patients & doctors ¯(ツ)/¯
It's something about the eyes, I think …
(Also, I think one of our employees had a really bad experience at Chucky Cheese when he was a kid but he won't talk about it).
6:22 That's "Creepy Ambiance (2)" from Vampire: the Masquerade: Bloodlines!
Most hate fnaf for attention or because they don't understand the story line or there too scared to understand.
outlast is #9???? WTF???????
Alien Isolation? Dead Space?
Good list. other than FNAF and P.T. FNAF is a game that just relies in jump scares, which any horror fan knows it's the biggest cheap scare to do. it's not even "scary" to those who always watch horror movies and play horror games.
you could've included Clock Tower, The Evil Within, Until Dawn.
as much as I love P.T. it's just a playable teaser, not a game…sadly.
I feel like shadowman should of been on here somewhere. Love that game.
How the heck is fnaf on this list?! Mojo lost its Mojo.
Does nobody know of Cry of Fear?
First I was like:
Yeah! Good old Rick Trager! My man! Ok, this list has to be good ~.~
But shortly after:
…I should have expected that by now…
So thats what five nights at freddy's is,a video game, why is the clothing line garnered to kids?
I think that SH4: The Room is the most nightmarish in the series. Played SH2, SH3, SH4 and Homecoming. But "The Room" is freaking scary… When the ghosts start appearing from the walls and you have to light candles or wear medallions that break over time. Just to survive in a locked room, or go to one of those nightmare dimensions, where the same ghosts wander and are immortal (you can pin them down with special swords, but those are rare). That creates real nightmares.
Fatal Frame II's canon final boss (The Kusanagi) was sick, but the non-canon secret final boss (Sanae) was beyond awesome. I dunno if you even saw it, it was kind of hard to get (you could only get it in NG+), but finally facing off against Sanae where the credits are supposed to be was handled with such aesthetic brilliance. That fight always stuck with me.
Love that number 1….so shit lmao
The forbidden siren games?
Have to admit, kind of disappointed Clocktower's not on here.
Wheres The Evil Within?????
Really shocked dead space one or two didnt make it, though im not ure whos place it should take. proabably fnaf. I love it for what it is, but after the first few jump scares, it stops being scary because the environment, enemy, and death sequence is the same.
I wonder if half the idiots in the comment section have ever heard of an opinion.
7:24 The number one spot went to Satan's' Rectum? Makes sense… because that' what I herd in the background
Also, outlast should be higher on the list imo. Silent hill is plenty scary, especially when it came out. however, outlast had moments where I literally stress yelled running for a vent or down a hall.
