No.1: Revolver – The Beatles
Back in black an honourable mention. Biggest selling album by any band in the history of world music. I'll see you in hell
DOOKIE – Green Day
people who know, know it better than here, People who don't know, get mixed up by the flip-forth-and-back in Music . Educational effect: bad. // Sorry, though idea and attitude of all mojo is great, there's too much: ''how can i bring my own views to people'' of the journalists creating These vids and Features. That cuts down the value, and the audience. // This one you should have kept Anthologic!! For the educational good value. (Rating after ? what? You're own like-dislike Rating? Bad.)
Hybrid Theory- Linkin Park
OK Computer – signifying the death of good Radiohead.
Radiohead… give me a break
a night a the opera?
KISS DESTROYER?!?!
Nirvana is so overrated..
Where is a night at the Opera ??
Am I in an alternate universe where Ziggy Stardust was never released? What's happening? Is this thing on?
OK Computer should have been higher
RADIOHEAD??? REALLY??? YEA THEY CHANGE THE FACE OF MUSIC FOR THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Who – Who's Next needs at least honorable mention. Also lol at Beach Boys on the list. Why?
How can you have a list like this and not include Ziggy Stardust? It totally popularized if not invented the concept album and changed rock and roll significantly.
Very predictable
Ok Computer is the number 1.
"important"
Lmao!
Police? King Crimson? Neil Young?
The album I picked for my very first choice in this category was also the one you picked. How cool is that?
Am I the only person who thinks The Clash is garbage?
If Nirvana isn't on here somewhere I'll be confused. I mean they did almost singlehandedly change all of Rock with their sound.
I see OK computer then I click in.
Pet Sounds>Black Sabbath
How about the least important Albums in Rock History
Y’all dips missed Van Halen 1. That album changed the next 10-15 years of rock. And EVHS eruption changed guitar as a whole. You guys sucks
You didn't mention Steppenwolf or Grand Funk Railroad.Toney Tillery
Isaiah.
Disagree with whole list….. where's the album's that change main stream music…like n.w.a straight outta Compton… Metallica's black album… Micheal Jackson's thriller…..acdc back in black…..red hot chili peppers blood sugar sex magic…nine inch nails downward spiral….pink floyed the wall…dark side of the moon…even iron maiden…for hair metal.. Def Leppard pyromania….guns n roses.. appetite for destruction…led Zeppelin…4th album…even Britney Spears was more I to what people listen too than some album's here.
Black Sabbath away more import than Led Zeppelin IV
Top 3 predictable in 100%. For me no.1 is PF The Wall but I wish Genesis (wiht The Lamb Lies… or Trick of Tale) were also somewhere here. Masters of progressive rock. Well, everybody has his own favorite…
any one of the first three oasis albums
One of THE most important albums in rock band history is Days of Future Passed.
Pet Sounds totally revolutionized the music industry. God Only Knows, Wouldn't It Be Nice, Don't Talk, You Still Believe In Me, and many, MANY more
Pet sounds @ #6 is a joke, should be number 1 and led zeppelin has no right to be on this list, anyone can rip off other people's songs and call them their own. #fuckledzeppelin
The Beatles changed music forever, and Sgt. Pepper's was at the heart of that change. Well placed at number 1
SGT Pepper's better be 1st!
Edit: I don't know about Mick Jagger but I just got some satisfaction.
Pet Sounds even influenced Sgt.Pepper.
Machine Head-Deep Purple
Where IS REVÓLVER ???? !!! Who are these MOJO people ? They prefer naming the boring beach boys and the weak Bob Dylan ? Anyone ignoring REVOLVER does not deserve attention.
Why the hell isn't The Velvet Underground on this list? They inspired literally every alternative band after, and if they didn't directly influence them, the bands they influenced them did.
YOU FRITTER AND WASTE THE HOURS IN AN OFF HAND WAAAAY ❤❤❤❤❤
"Before there was psychedelic rock, there was Pet Sounds …" Really? No psychedelic rock before Pet Sounds? Fucking millennials.
in my list… cosmos factory-ccr , machine head-deep purple , are you experienced , dark side of the mon .. and more…………….dont like kiss, guns roses nooooooooooo.
Sgt. Pepper was groundbreaking, Rock became an art form. But for me it was one of their least best albums. Abbey Road, The White album, Revolver, Rubber Soul and A Hard days night were much better imo.
