  1. The reason gollum is number 1 is because of how much dedication he put into this roll. He almost ruined his voice and actually ran around the set covered in dots glued to him as gollum. It's his most dedicated roll. Even if the heart is genuin in pota

  2. He didnt just do voice work on the ps3 game Enslaved…he did the whole motion capture thing just like smeagol and ceasar and he was awesome in that game. should have been on here

  3. I think Caesar is his best work, with Gollum just a step behind.

30 years ago the Academy refused to admit the nomination of Tron in the Visual Effects category because thought that "using computer was cheating"
15 years ago they refused to admit Andy Serkis motion capture performance of Gollum for the same reason, but I think that now the time is right for his work in War for the Planet of the Apes.

  4. "Andy Serkis should get an Oscar" – you guys have too much expectation in the dinosaurs of the Academy who only consider Oscar-bait films released just before the awards season.

  5. Smeagol was not a Hobbit, he was a creature similar to a Hobbit. I hate it when small details such as this are presented incorrectly.
