Many people believe this is a teaser for CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND 2 however it already has a rating and this year is the 40th anniversary of the original film. So we're pretty sure that a possible theatrical and new Blu-Ray/4K release is coming.
THIS ANYBODY'S BIKE????
im getting tired of remakes and directors running out of ideas
Shit teaser for a shit movie.
i want a full cut, every scene in the movie, longest version, i know they can easily do that with Blu-ray and have multiple versions, i know my Blu-ray has like three versions now but I want everything, the full encounter…
I seriously thought this was a remake lol. Ughhhhh thank God it's not.
This is gonna be great, whatever it is. If it's a sequel, whoa. If it's a theatrical rerelease, as long as they don't pull a George Lucas, and include the full director's cut, restored, it'll be an amazing ride in IMAX.
I don't know what it is about this movie, but every time I watch it I actually feel that extraterrestrials could be a real thing. It's the only movie I've ever seen that provokes that feeling in me. I think it's because, for the most part, they treated it with seriousness, and never overplayed the spectacle. The enormity of the mother ship at the end actually makes me awe. Weird, I know, especially given how the effects are so archaic relatively speaking.
I'll likely see this, but I hope it's the original cut and not the director cut from a couple years after. Also, since Spielberg is on record saying that he regrets the way he wrote the main character, having him leave his family as he did, I can't help feeling apprehensive that he tinkered with it even more. Hopefully he learned his lesson after the E.T. Special Edition debacle that some things shouldn't be messed with.
saw the thumbnail, thought it was gonna be a shitty remake or a seprequel, glad its not…
Sooo when is the cocoon anniversary?
most boring ufo movie ever.
Tf is this crap
