Being willing to kill people is what makes Game of Thrones so good! it makes characters so much more memerable, and keeps you on the toes of who died next. yes I know someone is going to make a "Ice and Fire" remark, but you didn't know who was going to die before you get to that part in the book.
I don't think Remember Me should be on this list. I completely lost it at the end, in which case I think it fulfilled it's cause. The rest of the movie kind of sucked, but that ending was killer.
I really don't understand why people hate The Village so much. I genuinely like that film. I honestly think most people dislike it because other people dislike it.
Matrix revolutions ending – for simple "not-deeply-thinking-of-it" viewers it can be difficult to understand, because imo the ending is opened, its up to individual viewer how you will get it, up to individuals imagination, understanding the whole plot, understanding metaphors or details simple such as bright sky, etc. So no dissapointment for me 🙂
How is it possible that "Knowing" just gets an dishonorable mention? This really fucked up Adam and Eve with aliens ending was the worst batshit I ever saw in my whole life – including Matrix Revolution.
"They" should have been on this list. Not as an honorable mention. Seriously, I"m sick of movies where you get attached to these characters only for them to fucking get horribly killed AT THE VERY FUCKING END.
Realy WatchMojo? The Unborn's ending left me terrified. The ending basically symbolizes that she will never be free from this spirit since she herself is carrying twins and thus a vessel for the spirit. It's supposed to leave you all on that terrifying note that she will never be free. As for ASM 2, after the events of the film and Gwen dies, Spidey went into a depression because the woman he loved was dead and to make it worse, it is implied he was the one who killed her. So the ending where Spidey returns to fight Rhino and the kid helps him regain his confidence and get back to his heroic duties helps develop Spidey further because really, how can you go back to work when someone you loved died from it? I personally will say it was cheesy but it was needed. Furthermore, ASM roughly adapts to the original source material which I prefer better than Sam Reimi's trilogy.
I know The Knowing was notably negative but I noticed the nuances of this nihilistic near-future were knotted with nimbly placed nonsensical numeric notes which, for Nick, were neatly kneed into this end-times narrative.
Watchmojo, why did you cut out the fight between Spider-man and Rhino?!?! Wait, you mean the movie did that? Wonder why Sony lost Spider-man…
