For more makeup bag must haves visit: where I go into more detail. Today, I want to talk about makeup bag must haves, the essential makeup bag products you want to keep in your makeup bag to touch up with.
These items are portable and lightweight so they won’t weigh down your purse!
In this first video, I will share with you my first three makeup recommendations. These products will help touch up your skin and makeup throughout the day.
What are the most important cosmetics to keep in your makeup bag? Here are my pro makeup artist tips on the best products to carry around with you to keep your makeup looking fresh all day.
The first thing you want to do to touch up an oily t-zone is to use makeup blotting tissues. These will help to take away the oil, without adding a bunch of heavy powder on top. This will touch up your t-zone without creating breakouts by trapping the oil under more makeup.
The next tip is to use a portable concealer to touch up your skin. I like cream concealers in pots because the pigment is really dense and a little goes a long way.
You just need a little on your fingertips and the pot concealer can double as a foundation and concealer in one.
For a mid-day refresher, I like to use a makeup spray to rehydrate your skin and re-emulsify your makeup. This will refreshen your makeup without becoming heavy.
Here are the products I recommend:
Nix Blotting Papers:
Stila All Day Concealer:
For oily skin, Urban Decay All-Nighter:
For dry skin, Son and Park Beauty Water, put into a spray bottle:
