Dr. Berg talks about nutrition for kids and giving them healthy food to eat. He illustrates the absolute worst health food for kids and advises on following healthy eating habits.
Dr. Berg talks about the 4 worst health foods for kids and these are :
1. Juice
2. Flavored yogurt
3. Weight gain shakes
4. Whole grains
Juice has high quantities of sugar which is bad for the pancreas and might lead to other health problems related to high sugar at a later stage. Flavored yogurt has lots of sugar (4 times more than the plain yogurt) and should be avoided for healthy nutrition for kids. Weight gain shakes have so much hidden sugar along with synthetic vitamins. The best foods for kids to gain weight would be potatoes, sweet potatoes, yam. Whole grains such as breads, biscuits, pancakes should be avoided as they are the worst foods to eat for kids. Instead healthy meals for kids should include proteins, vegetables, fruits, nut seeds that will provide them the essential nutrition for kids.
